I'll post a photo of an X1 swingarm on my S1 if need be.
It's a pretty straight forward (if time consuming) swap. Aside from the swing arm, different parts are the fender, axle, adjusters, shock, front shock mount and swing arm mounting block. I understand that the stock shock mount can simply be relieved a bit for clearance.
Good time to update the isolators if you haven't already done so.

What are the advantages or disadvantage of the generation II swingarm. Is it stronger? More rigid? I know they're heavier. I've got a Frankenstein Buell [made up of parts like Frankenstein's monster] and I've got one of each swingarm. Which one should I use?

the figure i heard was that the al one was 200% stiffer.. me i just like the look of al. and it dose have a better "stronger" rear axle adjuster design.. im currently putting one on my s2t.
