Martin, You know where I live if you wanna talk about that gay azz flag. Rich, Go to Meetup.com. 21 riders signed up, 14 of them have submitted their info. We might have more if personal feelings would be discussed with the group by e-mail and not displayed for the whole world to see. If there are issues, they do not need to be discussed in this manner. There were disgruntled feelings because people thought that this was some how going to contain initiation processes. I cleared that misconception up. What else needs to be fixed. If it takes fixing all misconceptions , e-mail me your concerns. Do not keep posting them here. That goes for all of you with issues. If you guys don't get the perfect answers you are looking for here, there are plenty of other forums here that would be happy to have you as a poster. Phil, Don't read too much into it. I understand their frustration, some of us just don't advertise it. We are getting the BRAG thing going which can only bring good things with it. John don’t be such a little woman and get hurt feeling every time someone says something you don’t like. John I personally think you’re a good guy and have never said anything other. I do however think that the club name and all the flags posted in November are just silly. It is also clear that I’m not the only one who thinks so either. I thought the forum was for all to discuss issues that concern the group. If you don’t agree with my views then just say “hey I like the flag or the club name. I think we should keep it.” Or if you just want to have some fun or razz'n back then “I like that flag I think you need to shut your gay azz mouth.” But don’t start threaten me over it. If you think that I’m going to drive over to your house and duke it out with ya over the state flag, like some kid on the play ground, well then your pretty stupid. How old are you? This isn’t the 4th grade grow up… Rich buddy, I am with you on your views. I think Nick was talking about himself and I about the ego thing and not you. I do agree with you 100% about you never make fun or joke about a rider who has gone down. I think Nick was trying to just be one of the guys. I think he knows it was a bad joke and dropped it. Rich I’m sure that both you and I had the intent to have fun. It’s that whole D&D mentality that you mentioned here earlier and these guys are taking the BBAS thing way to seriously. It might be the only thing these guys have in their life and taking this club as a proud moment in their lives where as you and I could really care less and just want to ride and have fun. So it is clear that both you and I have to easing off the throttle. And Rich if you don’t like easing off the gay azz throttle you know where I live! Sorry John I had too… na-na-na-na I’m rubber your glue… Nick buddy, I didn’t read anything about anyone making fun of the rock that hit your bike. I am personally glad to hear that you are ok and secondly that the bike can be fixed. Sounds like the situation could have been a lot worse. Philip I got your e-mail last night sorry I didn’t have a chance to get back to you yet. Sounds like you thought our post were funny and that’s what was intended. Alright, I see that not only Martin's posts are read out of context. I merely stated that you have been over to my house and we spoke pretty openly about how things went on the ride and what direction we would like to see the group go in. See, now I feel like we're married or somethin'. This is the second time I have had to apologize for somethin'. Damn, at least buy me dinner first next time...I for one have stopped fighting over stupid things. The only things that trigger me are things over my family(seriously). Martin: Cha ching! You got it! I was talking about you and I being without bikes. I was making fun of myself about the wreck, I never said anyone else was. You are right again...I dropped it! I am not sure where all the crap started about joking anyway. Martin, if you had been hurt that would have been totally different. In my short 5 year racing "career", I destroyed a shoulder, broke both ankles and a tail bone. I laughed at myself every time I went down. Humor is a better medicine than bitterness and self pity. (And before the band starts, I am not saying anyone here had a pity party, I am solely talking about my own experiences) That is why I said that I am done joking around. People have their feelings on their sleeves, and their attitudes in high gear and I am done with it. Again...on the flag issue and the name... it may not be the best, but we put it out to everyone that was a member at the time to come up with suggestions. That is what we ended up with. No one "single" person came up with that idea. Again...make a change later. Right now, the name is what it is and we'll have to live with it. Now the logo is a different story. That was a quick idea formed in Photo Shop. We can do whatever we want to do with that. And in the words of my favorite hero... Hey Guys, I had a much better day than yesterday so with a cooler head here goes First and for most all I want to do is ride that is real reason I came to this website, to find people who had the same interest in riding Buell's as me. Second Nick I took it wrong it was just that me and Martin were posting above you so I thought you were talking about me, and as Martin said i very glad to hear that did not get hurt.As a rider who pushes myself and my machine I have accepted the fact that I could at anytime end up on the pavement and I guess I just don't like to joke about it . As far as I'm concerned that is the end of that. Third in my opinion there is a little to much "ragging" on each other going on out here I know I'm guilty of it as much as everybody else .While i can take a joke as well as anybody i mean really we all own Buell's we have to be able to laugh. Someone eventually is going to get really mad so I will be doing less of it. Fourth John i had no idea there was another Buell forum I thought that this was it although if someone is'nt serious enough to give contact info does that really make them a part of the group. Also I'm sure Nick and John are thinking there is a little bit of monday morning quarterbacking going on and they are right no one else suggested so sort of a name or logo.I can only speak for myself when i say that i will be more involved. I might not always agree, but i will at least have another idea.I guess what I'm trying to say is if you don't vote then don't bitch.Iam not going anywhere Las Vegas is home and I plan to be riding for many years. Glad to see everyone's on the same page. Rich, Like Nick said, we can always change the name later. I think that if we had more time to think of a name, we could have picked something that everyone would have agreed on. Maybe we'll go to a strip bar and brainstorm before we think of names next time. How does Bordeauxs' Bodacious Buellers sound? Got a ring to it don't it? Yeah....see how that works. Hey guys I just wanted to pop in and say hi to all you Buell club guys. I have to use the computer here on campus at UNLV because I don’t have one in my room yet. Just wanted to say that it was fun on Saturday to have met up with Rich and Martin. The ride was fun. The after ride party was fun to. There was soo many hot girls at the Pink Taco I think I kinked my neck. Long live the Mongoose! I hope to meet up with the rest of you guys for some good riding in the future. | ||

Hey everyone! I am still hear. Bike is down and in the shop as we speak.  I was told it had some real problems, one starting with the mental challanged person behind the bars. Two with the engine. The cam seal is leaking, primary chain adjuster is being replaced also. So far that is all but Mike at LVHD said they are just getting into it and there might be some more stuff. All warranty stuff so let them fix it is what I say. Any way I will be gone from the computer for 2 weeks starting on Sat. Army time again. | ||

Rich, Nicks' still around. I called him to find out what was up with him also, and he told me that he and Sammie have been real preoccupied with other things. Good things though. John: The plane flight from hear to Washington state is what I am dreading. I hate flying. Much rather ride or drive. For All: Laughlin River Run in april. Owen and I will be there. Owen will be for a whole week camping out; me I will be there on the weekend. Longer if work will let me. If any body wants to go let one of us know. I will post the details as they get set in stone.
