i'm getting ready to do the same mod to my 9S, (well....i got an R triple at least). what did the RR master cylinder run? how are the three holes you drilled and tapped into the R triple holding up? anything else i should be aware of before jumping into this?

thanks, in advance, for any info you 3%ers can offer.

I think it was about $90.
how are the three holes you drilled and tapped into the R triple holding up?
I know of no one having any trouble.
anything else i should be aware of before jumping into this?
I ain't exactly the easiest thing to get the gauge module's holes for the R triple to fit "just right"
You'll have to cut your key down a bit.
I think XBullet, just took the blue plastic off his key.
Routing the clutch cable tends to be a bit of a pain as well.
Good luck!

thanks, glitch! couldn't have said it better!

chgojim -- one more thing... you might want a shorter brake line. mine is almost, but not quite in a bind. Russell (the company) makes components, but i have yet to measure the length of brake line.

in hindsight there should be a 90 degree banjo on the m/c, as well to avoid binding up. the 45 degree banjo on the caliper (stock) is fine. will post pics soon.

Hey guys sorry to reopen an ancient thread. I'm doing this conversion right now and I really could use some help with specifics. What size quickcerts do I use and what is the XB12RR master cylinder part number? I would really appreciate any help.
