Stay tuned folks for the continuing exciting ventures of "How the Worm Turns." LOL Don, from one outsider to another, give it up. Folks will do what they want to do. Nothing you or anyone else can do to influence anyone to change their mind once they have decided to move on. Whether or not Uke's gets to keep any of the Insurgents as Brag members is yet to be seen. Just don't go driving them away by rubbing their noses in it. Personally, I have enjoyed and respect all that Uke's has done to promote the 20th, the 100th, Homecoming and a number of other events. Lot more that others in that part of the State have done. Yet, still there seems to be some attrition for whatever reasons. So be it. Pick up the pieces and do what you can with it. At this point, recruitment rather that retention may be in Uke's best interest in building a stronger club. Build a better Brag Club. God only knows who you will attract. | ||

I just got a call informing me that one of my dear friends (and a co-worker of 16 years) died today. She simply fell and hit her head in a way that caused bleeding into the brain. The doctors couldn't do anything. This one is really tough to take. I think of her kids and her husband and her students. I'm logging off for a while. Gonna give my family some extra hugs. | ||

Dyna...First Dumb Question of the New Year. Was that you speed shifting the recliner in Steinhafel's Kenosha clearance sale TV Commercial? It aired on USA quite a bit on New Year's Day. Sure looked like you but since I never saw you without some form of MC clothing on, I wasn't sure. | ||

I talked to someone at the factory today and he informed me that there will be Buells racing at Road America on April 23rd and 24th! The 23rd looks like a CCS day The 24th will be Formula USA. I don't know if I will be able to make it(depends on Kandie's schedule) but wanted to let everyone know about it. Go cheer the Buells on! | ||

I hear some genetic attributes skip a generation or two sometimes. Don't know firsthand the local issues down there, just know I've generally had a good time at their events. Happy New Year's to Everyone, Every new year brings changes and this year is definitely a year of change for Uke's BRAG. My name is Tim Koleno and I am the new dealer representative for Uke's BRAG. (Thank you Don for the earlier welcome). Besides introducing myself, the purpose of this post is to find out information about the BRAG. Who is left, who is not, who is planning on attending the next meeting on January 25th. As a Buell owner, I am looking forward to participating in the activities that will be planned for the year. Those members that are coming back, please think of activities that you would like to participate in and attend in the coming year. I do have tentative track day dates already and I have ideas for homecoming/battletrax. If there are any more concerns and/or ideas that you would like to share, please contact me at Uke's and/or send me an e-mail. I am looking forward to the experience of this year with all of you. I got to visit Uke's for the first time last week. We were visiting my family in MKE for the New Year's holiday and my brother & I got a bug up our butt to shop for gear. House of Harley was closed for a massive inventory (rumors of an ownership shake-up?) so we bombed down to Uke's. My brother got to sit on a CityX for the first time, probably the only Buell that would fit his big body. I was looking for Buell leathers, but came up dry. Nice place, and thanks to Eve for chatting us up. |
