Dyna adding some bling to the R1?  I've started adding some to the S3. Got a Harley chrome primary(has a scratch on the bottom, so it went for $30 ) A Chrome clutch cover, now I need to get one of them chrome cam covers. I'd like to disassemble my front end so I can polish the lowers, and the brake calipers. | ||

Adding a little yes. I have seen a couple pics of R1's with chrome rims & to me they look 100 times better than the stock black rims. After that I will be looking for a nice set of aftermarket rearsets. | ||

I'd go, but still recovering from the stomach flu thanks to Jonathan, both Karri and I have it!! Fiery, you could use those curb feelers on your ankles!!??  Hope everyone can make it to the party NEXT Saturday. Was going to Shoot the paint on the tail section on the bike today and also the new handle bar mounting bracket, but the bodies still a bit shaky, so I'll try tomorrow. Screw all the new age diets. I'm starting the "Stomach Flu Diet". I dropped 10 frickin' pounds from it! Anyone want me to get you started!? I can be at your houses within the hour! | ||

Anyone have any ideas for the header for the newsletters!!??? Needless to say, there won't be one for our 1st meeting, at least not from me. Also, the dealer wants to see the thing before we issue them, so I don't think we'll be doing them monthly. Hopefully ever other month. | ||

Dyna I'll be talk'n to ya tomorrow anyways but I spent about $600.00 round trip back to me on my rims.In all honesty the way you ride sometime when the salt is stiil on the roads and such chrome isn't the way to go.Your gonna have pitting problems even though you'd clean them right away.What I think may look really cool is having your wheels match your paint.Easy to maintain and the look would be slick.But if your really stuck on chrome just the rims nothing else.Heres the guys that did mine www.chromeplating.com they also would most likely have a set already chromed so soon as you send them out and they get a tracking number they will send a set out to you pronto.They couldn't do that for me cause they hadn't had any Buell wheels in stock.Trust me in the long run you'll enjoy your bike more if you either leave it be or just change the color of them.Just my 2 cents worth. | ||

Also Dyna the R1 above the frame is polished and so is the swing arm.If you look close at it they are slightly duller then the rims. |
