I just got back from the Dentist (Root Canal), I’m heading over to pick up my bike (New Tires). Hopefully I will feel ok tomorrow so I can go on the ride, if not I may have to miss it.

Nick I might be up for a ride Tuesday, what ride on 215?

The SCSB meeting Tuesday night @1900 215 & Eastern.

ALSO: I almost forgot.. I guess the dealer did listen somewhat. They gave me a good deal on the labor, and they are stocked with a LOT more Buell related hats, and shirts than I have ever seen.

Hey, have you heard of a place in town that rents a bay&lift by the day or hour? I saw something like that in the yellow pages the other day. I'll have to see if I can find the name again.

Las Vegas Harley had several types of shirts including the one with the flaming Pegasus on the back and several types of Buell hats and even some Buell beanies. I was dropping hints all over today when we were there!

Hey all,

Droppin in to say hello again. Glad to see you are getting some response from LVHD. I thought they were a bunch of pricks when I visited. Maybe I just encountered a peeved sales/parts staff that day... Hope the Kingman trip is good. I'm stuck here at work Knock back a few for me!

Sorry I missed the run. Hope you all got back safe. I had to work last night all night. Got off around 7:30 AM and promptly crashed out as soon as I walked in my apartment. At least you all could cruise a little faster without the Blasts tagging along today. : )

Hey guys I made it home safe. No tire burst, along the way. I want to say thanks to both Mark & John for hanging back with me as I slow poked along.

How ever the ride down there was FUN! As a group we kept a really fast pace and got to enjoy top out speeds quite a few times! I'm pretty sure at one point or another we all had smiles on our faces. =)

On a different note. I hope that guy who was racing on to the 95 with both Nik and I is ok after his nasty crash. I hope we get a chance to talk with him again.

~Martin

Damn, I went by LVHD today and so not one Buell piece. Then again, I was also making sure my little brother didn't knock over $20,000 HD, so I guess I'll have to cruise by there again Monday. I haven't ridden in forever, but my dad just got the engine in for his bike. I tried to tell him to go Buell, but he wanted to build a Harley *sigh*. Hopefully that guy that crashed is okay too, glad everyone's safe.

Hey Martin,
glad to hear ya made it home ok! No doubt on the smiles! That was the longest I had sustained top speed on the bike since I had it! (I know really hate rev limiters) I am working on some pics right now, so when Sammie and I get done editing, I'll post some here and the other groups. I feel like an now because in all the mess yesterday I forgot the guys name. I think he is over in the Meetup board though. His insurance company called me and says he is ok.
Jason and Dan, you guys missed a lot of fun, and a good lunch! ~LOL~ We met M1 from Arizona and a few of the guys from SCSB went with us. Thanks to them I no longer think of 130 as fast!

See you guys later,
Nick

Spaz, how was the movie? Painted some doors today at Terry's house. Crap I hate painting. I had a lot of fun yesterday, the lunch was to die for. I am glad that the guy who went down is doing good.

Lghtn: Very happy you made it home with out shredding a tire.

Nick, rev limits do suck. But Buells are still the best.

Owen: Thats really awesome! I have heard some good reviews so far. Can't wait to see it!

Hey guys...John and I have posted about 30 pics over at the Yahoo group. The size limit here really limits what we can show.
Hope to see all of you tomorrow night! I am really looking forward to it. Gleno, Mark and I have sharing a few stabs back and forth over on the Sin City Board. I really had a good time with everyone, and definatly look forward to getting some more miles with everyone. As Jake pointed out, we are ALL supposed to get together at HHD in January and let them know what we expect from them. I am also up for maybe a morning run to somewhere...more sporting, like ?? I am open for suggestions. Like always...here all night,
Nick

So I went to LVHD, found the buell section, err rack, err hanger. haha, two hats and about 20 shirts. I guess it's better than nothing, but I really wish if they were asking 60 for the shirts they'd at least get me one in my size. The lady was trying to convince me a large was my size...psssshhhh. I guess things can only get better. EBay here I come! I'm definitely hoping to be back on the road by January, I swear Thursday afternoon the bike, the drill, and I are all getting acquainted. Haha, anyway, ride safe guys!

Dan: Good to hear that you are getting to work on the bike! I am gonna rent a space here soon so I can do some work on my bike. I have to drop the engine to do a rocker cover gasket.

Everyone else: Mark, John and I attended the SCSB meeting tonight. There were 40+ members there. I can hardly wait to see us gain that number. Speaking of that, I will be contacting Dawn to see if they will send out a letter for the January meeting at HHD to announce the meeting to all the other "potential" members. We also discussed some possible rides for January such as Oatman and VOF. We are a riders group after all! ~LOL~ In the coming year, we would also like to discuss some other issues such as community involvement of the group. ie: picking a charity for next Christmas such as sponsoring a needy family for the holidays.
We have come a long ways, but we still have a lot to go through. John and I were both discussing how far away March or April seems. I would hope that we could get the support from LVHD now to start a recruiting drive before the actual chapter is formed.
Any comments or suggestions??

Catch you guys later!
Nick

I have already talked with the guy at Freedom Cycles and am gonna rent a bay from him for the day. Would love to have some company for the day. I might even buy drinks for the day!

No biggie Jake. Sometimes good conversation makes the time go by rather quick. From what the guys are telling me this is pretty simple. I dont even have to pull the belt to rotate the engine down. Hopefully I can do the deal in a few hours. Might be nice as well to show up and smoooge this guy a bit. A future sponsor??

I also talked with Dawn today about the January meeting. She is going to try to put together some nice flyer to MAIL out to all the Buell owners and let them know about the meeting as well! Somewhat of an early membership drive.
Give me a call later if you can, or I'll be in the chatroom.
Nick
