Vegas was good. Not a lucky as I was in March, when I won enough to cover all of my expenses while there. We were fortunate enough to have a connection to get us into the Foundation Room (Mandalay Bay). The Foundation Room is a members only bar/restaurant that is part of the House of Blues. Very cool lounge. They had private rooms for dinner and drinks. The bar area had two seating areas (couches) and a fireplace. The bar itself was carved wood. The view from the balcony looked right down the strip. We also went to a Circe de Soule (sp?) show called Mystere. Very interesting and acrobatic. Other than that we pretty much just drank and gambled. Sara did some shopping and actually had to have a new dress and coat shipped home. Overall a great getaway from work and other crap! I will try and get some pictures up tonight. | ||

CJ...you will have fun. They serve booze 24/7!!! This trip was very tame compared to my trip in March with a bunch of guys. I actually sobered up during the day. | ||

Get the +/- multi-format drive. You can't go wrong. See most older DVD players, can't play back the DVD +R discs, but do well with -R. Be careful with that drive at officemax for $20 after rebate. it may not be able to burn DVD+R discs, only DVD+RWs(that's how the early + drives were). http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=77748 6&CatId=482 can't go wrong with a Plextor | ||

Kinger, no problem. I saw that deal earlier, and if I wouldn't have bought a Pioneer(they work better on the Macintosh it's installed in anyhow) a month or two ago, I would have also grabbed it. | ||

A little over one week to the x-mas (Holiday for the PC in the group) dinner. What is the count up to CJ? Steve how did the timing cover turn out?? I should have the new DVD burner installed this weekend. I have missed UPS twice now. Need to sign the slip so they leave the box. | ||

CJ, If it went to the yahoo mail account I haven't accessed that one for a month or more. If it went to the execpc account I hadn't accessed that one for several weeks partly due to surgical interference. No, I wouldn't bitbucket the message.  | ||
