Hell, Tucson HD isn't much better! I stopped there on the way home to try and pick up a Buell t-shirt or something. Not ONE piece of buell merchandise in the "boutique"!!! The had a couple of XB's and a CityX on the floor but everything else Buell was gone. You should've seen the looks I got pulling up on a Buell with actual gear and a helmet on. You would've thought I killed someone's dog or something. I feel like Rodney Dangerfield on that bike sometimes! | ||

Wycked, Just read that article. You know how many times a year we ride past that turn? I am glad to hear those folks at that yard made such an effort to retain the culprits. Glad to hear the rider is going to make it. Just goes to show, even the best training won't protect you when it comes to idiots on the road...  | ||

Oh sure, you guys get a sweet ride over the dam, with lots of curves, and we get a straight shot of a highway, with minimal curves. ha ha ha Not funny. I'd still would go just because I havn't been able to ride, but alas, duty calls. I'm still baby sitting my big bro at the hospital. He's doing better. Able to talk now, and recognizes folks when they come by. Still not out of the woods yet, but much better all in all. you guys have a good ride! Bart | ||

Calling won't do any good, my cell got turned off farking Verizon piled on charges and I refused to pay them. As it is, those plugs are about to go in the bike, but I know Cyclezone on Bell can order them in. Just tell them Mikel sent you. He should be able to look in the order book and reorder them off that. | ||

Man... I was almost a hood ornament yesterday! On a nice cruise back up HWY 1 from San Diego and some biotch made a cali stop and turned right in front of me, didn't even look! I made an emergency stop and swerved at the last minute. I swear my knee missed her bumper by 2 inches! The guys I was with were ahead of me and blocked the road with their bikes, THEY WERE GOING TO KICK HER •••!? I told them I was OK and to not worry about it... I was pretty mad though... Mikel, are you talking about iridiums? I think I'm going to try some out... Are they good, I know they're pricey so I'd like some feedback before spending the dough. | ||

Charlieboy, I had NAPA order some of the NGK Iridiums. They might still have some in stock, if not they can get them in a couple of days. I think they were about $8 a piece from them. Well, I head out tomorrow morning headed back to North Carolina. We are headed up to the Grand Canyon tomorrow, then Saturday morning we are headed to my parents in Memphis. We'll stay there for Thanksgiving and then head to Camp Lejeune. Wycked, it was great meeting you that one time, wish we could have a chance to ride together. Wish I could have had a chance to ride with all of you. Ya'll take it easy and I'll see ya'll here on the BadWeb and hopefully at other events. Take it easy. Ski, it was nice meeting you. Roads to Ride. OK, here's the challenge:where to ride. Where can we go for shorter rides during the winter. Need some suggestions from you guys that have been around a while. Up in the northwest valley were lucky to find more than two or three curves in any one area. I heard south mountain was repaved, but I have not been up there in 15 years. What else is out there? Should we start a thread here for roads to ride, edit one posting or what? Any comments? Signed: Mr.Too Busy to take a whole friggin day off. | ||

Hey Bill, Bob's Cycle Supply has some M2 plastics in Yellow...chin fairing, tank cover, underseat pan, rear fender. Trying to swing the cash to pick up whats left of their S3 kit so I can really start working on getting mine up and running... Roads to ride, Salt River is still going strong can be chilly but its still a good ride. | ||

Charlie, "Missed by 2" is better than "just barely hit" Bill, Might I suggest Tortilla flat/Canyon Lake. A couple of us are heading out there Saturday morning. Anyone interested? Not sure about the 'Bolts, but the tubers took the same Iridium plugs as my Aprilia. $8 sounds like a great price. Maybe a little too great. Kobe, Cyclezone on Bell near Metro on the opposite side from PepBoys can order them in at about $10 a plug. So far none of the Autozones or Checkers in my area have been able to get them, not sure why but they haven't been able to. If I wasn't going to San Diego I would be in for the ride. Hey James, did you pass a Black firebolt being ridden by a guy with a backpack and no helmet about 6:30 or so down Union Hills between 83rd and 91st? If so that was me... | ||

Oh where to ride... hmmmmm there's Bartlett Lake up on the North side, The road along the salt river to Saguaro lake in Mesa, which loops around and comes back in by Fountain Hills, and yes, the road to Tortilla Flats is a good road. South Mt. is a good road on Sunday mornings, the traffic is light then. Where are you going to meet and at what time for the ride Saturday to Tortilla Flats? | ||
