Some people are choosing to go to Daytona instead for their Dealio  Dana and I are definatley always involved with the homecommings... I know that this club is NOT all the time "Social" you may think, but we all have become friends because of having the same interest and/or having children around the same ages etc. people make choices to do different things during different times of the year when we can.. If you think about it Rocco, we have all been doing "Cycle" stuff but not everyone can do everything at the same time. And some may only go to some places with their significant others????? Rocco if theres a problem with the club then bring to the meeting not here on the board.If you don't want to write for the club you don't have to.You see everyone has a different agenda and mines Daytona.Homecoming is another that means time off.Speaking from experience don't count your club out until closer to your event.When I was helping along with a couple others getting the 20th going alot will get on the band wagon when it gets alot closer and I mean within the last month.You are nine months away.Give us a break bud.But bring this here in this manner is wrong. | ||

Nice bike Heather. And Dana, Do to the fact, and I'll bet money on it, MORE people read the Uke's page than show up at the meetings, and this is the Uke's Club page, I don't think this is a bad place to bring up any subject about the Club. As for the post earlier, I knew someone would take it out of context. The POINT was if no one was interested other than a select few, I WOULDN'T WASTE MY TIME AND YOURS WRITING ABOUT SOMETHING NO ONE CARES ABOUT. That being said, unless you're kicking me out of the club and since I'm doing the news letter I will keep updating it. Never know who will pick one up. And now that Tim from Uke's bought a Buell, he may be interested. I'm not knocking the social side of the club. I think it's great. Better than a club that does nothing together other than ride. I'm just a little disappointed in the lack of interest. The other events are a way of too, so time has nothing to do with it. Some things are time sensitive, like need a rough number for deals on rooms and stuff. But you take it anyway you want. If you think it's inappropriate, I'll drop the whole thing and wait for ideas to come in from everyone else. And Dyna, I hear ya. I got a nice trailer you can use if you can make it. | ||

Now update your profile. Under mods list the following as soon to come - Mikuni carb, race air cleaner, race ignition module, exhaust (TBD - D&D, Supertrapp/Buell race, Wileyco), updated shifter, bar-end mirrors, updated exhaust mount, and updated rear shock. I think that covers it for now... | ||

Slip-on. I don't think V&H made full exhaust. Now that I think about it, it probably won't fit the M2 without a new header. The pipe came off my S1W (2.5" headers). |
