Yup. It turned out to be a good time to get the bike in for service. The stitches hopefully come out Sunday the 17th. I just had it checked yesterday and it seems to be healing up nicely. I should be back to riding this weekend. | ||

Jason, if you can ride this weekend come to McD's on Sat. Nice to hear that you are healing well. I agree this is the best time to get work done on the bike. That's cool I am working 4am-4pm that day, so I can catch a good nap before we meet. Quick BRAG update: Talked with Dawn today, and it sounds like the sponsorship is a done deal. Here's a thought. What if we get some type of business card/flyer made up so that we can hand them out to other Buellers we see. We can have the BRAG site, this site, and the Meetup site on the card. Just a suggestion. See ya....... | ||

Wow. I went into LVHD today and saw the most eye catching bike. The internet doesn't do it justice. A red 2004 XB12R with the amber wheels. For some reason those wheels look outstanding on red bikes. They didn't do as much for the black ones. I want it now but its a little out of my price range and I don't have the experience to handle the power. | ||

Right on Nick. I am stil working sat. That is real good news on the Brag paperwork. I might get next Sat off!!!! Jeb, I agree with you. At the Laughlin River Run this year I test road one, it was great. For me I would have to get used to fuel injection. I had power out the arse. I want so bad but promised the wife a cruiser next. She likes rideing when she can. | ||

I have been talking with many of these guys and they seem like a great bunch. Guys I need some input here: First a lil splain'in: The Meet Up board was something that I just happened across. I think John may have been the only other active member there. As we go forward in forming a BRAG chapter, or any other formal Buell riders group, I would like to know what you all think of adding a Yahoo group as a communications forum, and trying to steer everyone from the MeetUp board to there. The BadWeb is absolutely one of the best places for us to share information and hold discussion, especially since almost any Buell search done on the net will land you here. The addition of the Yahoo group will/would allow us to post an event calendar, file space for pictures and other documents and a private message board that we can control/edit/and moderate. If you all agree about the Yahoo group, then you have to come up with a name for it. If you all decide that it will work, then I will be more than happy to set it up, and then add all of you as owners. By all means, I am open to suggestions and thoughts. I may be getting ahead of things, nit really sure. I am sure that I am bored off of my big behind today...  and getting ancy! Anyways.. see you all later, Nick | ||

Wow.. it was great to see everybody last night, and even meet some of the other halves of our world. I also posted for Tuesday nights meeting on the MeetUp board. We have one guy over there that lives in Indian Springs, that I am gonna try to steer this way. I am in for 12 hours of extreme boredom, so I will try to put together some sort of business card for the mean time.
