Kickstands up at 0930.. Like I said, it's a 'cruise' ride, so don't worry about hitting any roads too hard. I'll be on my Buell so I'll be easy to ID.. uh.. Oh yeah, it's the one in my profile. Yep, Leesburg. If your coming in on 15, follow it around to 7, take the Leesburg exit and right on the other side of a shell (I think it's a shell) is a shopping center with a Roy Rogers in it.. that's the rally point... Look forward to meetin' another BadWebber! Later, | ||

Well, looks like I'll be in Richmond on Friday. I'll be leavin' Frederick MD. around 7am, ridin 270, 495, 95 on in. I'll be with 3 or 4 others, but we only plan on hangin around for a few hours, then headin back in the afternoon, most likey 33 to 522 to Culpepper, eventually getting up into Leesburg and 15. OK.. In other local news.. This Saturday, at 9:30 I'll be leading the SCRC 'Sport Ride'. Any Bueller that can make it, is more than welcome as far as I'm concerned. Or you could join the club anyway.. it's free.. so the price is right.. SouthernCruisers.net is the national site.. I think.. hehehehe.. The ride departs from Roy Rogers in Leesburg, on Rt. 7 just off the Rt. 15 bypass.. Anyone needing better directions, drop me a line and we'll get you there... Later, | ||

Hey Buellers, Got sent over here by the General Discussion board. Not new to my Buell, but new to the boards. I reside in Quantico, VA and definately plan on getting up towards the BRAG meetings in Ft. Washington. I won't be able to make it out this weekend, seeing as how it's my Birthday (God...another damn year)...and the wife and I are going away for the weekend. Oh, I've got unrestricted 2" dragpipes on mine. "Thunder" isn't and issue and folks I ride with tend to stay on the left of my bike  You've probably seen/heard me around base Us http://users.adelphia.net/~luhrks/current.htm Pics were taken right after I snapped the belt like a rotten rubber band playing WoT from a rolling start in 1st gear heh. Softtail...I think I may have seen you around. I'm on the 04 White XB9R...nothing trick on it yet. Last time I tricked out a bike...2 months later I ran it into a building head on and almost visited the jolly green giant permenantly! As for the belt...good lord....I'm sure with the right coaxing you could get it up-right...but I want to see that...I'll bring the camera...you bring the balls to do it! Deerhunter...I'm definately interested in getting together with folks and riding....I usually just venture out on my own and cruise the back roads. I miss the group riding that I used to do in the old days....I don't know if I could keep up with those boys anymore though...that was back when I was fearless and 150mph on the highways and bi-ways in Indiana was average. I'm not saying I'm not game to 110...120 anymore...but it has it's time and place! | ||

Deerhunter...Damn, I was looking forward to havin' that black 12R hanging just off my tire.. The only thing I can say is Good Luck on the game.. Until the next time.. USMarine.. Your welcome with me anytime. Oh, and don't worry, the 150 range speeds are out of the question (at least with my fat butt on that bike). So all you have to worry about is how fast we hit the twists... Softail, how long till you're up and riding again? If you wanna come out Saturday, your more than welcome to join in.. Oh.. and there's a couple of other rides that I'm supposed to help out on.. A poker run for some charity (I really need to get this straight)and some other money raiser (for children of SecOps types that didn't get to come home).. Aside from that.. 150 is definately out of the question here besides me probably killing myself at that speed, the wife would do the damage a wreck would have if it doesn't happen As for getting back up and running, as I mentioned earlier the project I'm on expires tuesday and currently I'm gona be punding the pavement looking for work. Unfortunately there's bills to pay and kids to feed so the bike is being sacrificed  The good news is It sold for hoepfully enough to pay some bills and get myself a new used ride if I can find one at a reasonable price (anyone got a tube buell taking up space?). And odds are it'll "mutate" over the winter like the last one did | ||

150....Sorry, I'm a wimp when traveling outside a cage, occasional burst of 100 to 110 when I can SEE EVERYTHING that could be in my path... I am looking forward to getting some decent leathers over the winter and hitting some "Track Day" events. I DO want to explore the limits of two wheel adhesion, just don't like cars, cows and trucks to be around the bend  | ||

Damn.. Sunday I gotta go on a 'pre-ride' for some charity poker run I promised I'd help captain.. I did do 223miles on the Buell today.. Had a friend on a FZ1 claim we hit 137... I doubt it.. as for real speeds.. A VA Trooper said he clocked me at 83 in ••••. Asked me not to do it again and I said I wouldn't.. And off I went.. lost more twists I had to find. well.. if Frederick county is where i think it is, that'd be western MD, and Leesburg, VA would be about 1/2 way for us. Hate to say it - but I know that Roy Rodgers by heart Give me a buzz (Karl) at 540-286-0165 and I'll get stand up. Takes me about an Hour to get there from "Rednecksburg" though Just tell my wife you need me to go out for some milk so I won't get in trouble pls  Still looking for a repl Buell to tide me over the winter.
