ALMOST! It caught, and started to kick over, but the battery was too weak, and it didn't quite fire up. But so far, we have oil pressure, spark, air, and hopefully, fuel. On the trickle charger, the lights are coming on now, and the brain is up, until we try to crank it over. Cranking it pulls the battery down and resets the clock and stuff. But it's cranking strong, like it wants to fire up. A far cry from this morning, when it would barely turn. Battery is back on trickle charge again, and the jump box is recharging. I am keeping my fingers crossed. Hopefully, it'll be running tonight. | ||

Almost, again. It turns, it starts, but it won't catch and stay running. Might be bad gas, might be plugs are fouled. Can't say for certain. But the battery is taking a charge. I am going to leave it on trickle overnight, and try it again in the morning. | ||

Well, swapped the gas out, and changed the oil, plus new filter. Mobil 1 synthetic. It's on trickle charge now. Tires need air, cause it's turning really stiff. My payoff on it is $3465.00 right now. I am willing to offer it locally to anyone who is willing to do the paperwork at HD, so that the title gets xferred out of my name and comes to the buyer. I don't know how much above and beyond they might charge for that. It does have one issue. The turn signals are dry rotted. 3 of the plastic stalks are broken. Turn signals on e-bay for like 10 bux a pair. I might see if the dealer is willing to buy it off of me, or I might go to the wholesaler directly. If I do that, whoever gets it will be paying on average, between 5 and 6 thousand for it. Doesn't matter to me, I just need to pay off Harley Credit, so I can make my Harley payment and still be able to afford to eat. If you know anyone local who might be interested, let me know. | ||

Well, I confirmed that I am going to need a new battery. I jumped it off of the jump box, and rode it around for like 45 minutes or so, but the battery won't start the bike. Of course, I rode it around for like 45 minutes or so. I only had a year left to pay on it, and it would've been mine. I don't know what's wrong with my arm, but I have been hitting the weights and stuff to try and get it back. I Will be fine for a couple days or so, but like two days ago, I moved it a certain way, and pain shot all the way through it, and it went numb again. It's what caused me to bang out of work, and as a result, I lost the jeep. I managed to pay it off, but that's it, I walked away with nothing. Hopefully saved my credit. Yesterday I caught myself looking at the CR clubman bars and risers. I was thinking to myself, well, what if, I guess. I am going to get a battery for it on payday, and get the turn signals done. I am just going to slap some cheap aftermarket signals on it, but hey, they'll work, for now. I can also make the payment, so I will do that as well, and I guess I might have it for at least another month. The more I play with it, and do stuff to it, the more I like it. My neighbor, who rides also, rode it around today too. It's a fun fun bike, and for what it's worth, I am really going to miss it. But unless a rich relative leaves me money or I win the lottery, I am going to have to sell it. Problem is, now I don't want to.  | ||

New battery and turn signals installed. Starts first crank. Just had it down to the beach. Rode around for a little while, put about 10 miles on it. It's right at about 2100 miles now. I am starting to ask around about what might be a fair price to ask for it. I am so bummed. It would be paid off in less than a year. Oh well. | ||

The bike is sold. It came out beautifully and cleaned up really well. Guy got a spanking great deal on it, and I get to retire. Thanks all. It's been a really fun 7 years. Never know, one day, I might get a tuber. We'll see. | ||

I'm getting a new bike! I just sold my 05 xb12scg and I'm looking for an 1125r. I've got a lead on a cr but I think I want the fairing. The only time I rode a bike with a fairing was from weston to key largo and it was an sv650s. I think I'm going to end up with the cr. Anyone care to sway me in either direction? | ||

OK, so after being cut off by a cager, flipping the 1125r, which landed on me broke my back, collar bone, a rib, and messed up my knee, and ultimately led to the bike receiving a certificate of destruction I have re-upped, and now have another Buell again! We should get a Sunday ride together... who is in? | ||

Are there any south Florida group rides? Also looking for a mechanic who is good at rotating the engine on the 1125 and can do valve adjustments, etc. thanks Mort | ||
