Yeah, Lars.....very good ride last Sunday. Lots of Ducs and a couple KTMs. Heat took its toll on me though. Tired when I got home. Sorry to hear about the KTM needing multiple stops to fix rear tire to get back to VA.

I need suggestions

Third gear is still broken (it didn't walk it off). I want to fix it so that 1) it doesn't happen again 2) as cost effectively as possible. Any ideas different than the $1600 that Buell Service wants to fix it back to stock? Any aftermarket stronger transmissions out there? I'm open for any ideas.

Any BBD riders interested there is a ride on Sun June 10 out of Waynesboro PA. The South Mountain 130. Mostly trails with some rough road from what I'm told.

I was in Rhode Island, on the coast, all week through Saturday. TONS of Hogs out, 99% were helmetless, in shorts, t-shirts, and loafers. Any other kind of riders (sportbikes, dual-sports, etc.), were at least wearing a helmet and gloves.

Coming home on Saturday, I passed huge groups of sportbike and Harley gangs, roaring along I-95 in Connecticut and the Hutchinson Parkway in NYC.

I guess if you're not worried about crashing, it would be nice to go out wearing almost nothing. I just can't do it, though.

That would be the Blue Ridge Parkway. Can't make that ride, but just a heads up. Delmarva Bike Week Sept. 13-16 in Ocean City. Got a few Buellers out this way and we usually organize a ride. Don't take much advantage of the bike week festivities but it's a great excuse to put together a ride.

Well that was a good event! Bummer about Geoff on Sunday.

Finally got to see the 1190RS in the flesh -and the race bikes too. Brilliant.

Attack leaving the CRT bike all by itself was pretty damn cool too.
