Mention that you are with the SpringFast group. A ride down HWY 191, (formally known as Hwy 666). Some of the greatest curves in Arizona, no cops, little traffic, 95 miles of turns and switchbacks, with awesome vistas, great food, and good people... Reservations made! Julie and I are in. We haven't been to Arizona at all yet, so we're looking forward to SpringFast and spending the week after checking out more of the state. Fire roasted marshmallows... Priceless! Made my reservation today. The nice lady there said they have 9 rooms reserved just for us already. Sounds like another great trip to me!  This is the Nelson Resevoir that is only a few miles north of the Tal Wi Wi Lodge. | ||

Change of plans! Julie and I are going to be doing the Lake City ride instead of Springfast. There was no Lake City ride last year, and the year before we had to do it in a cage due to injury. So, we really wanted to get together with that group and dumped the whole Arizona trip to do so. Enjoy Springfast, and hopefully we'll make it there next year. Jeff | ||

Is it May yet?! I fly up 191 again! While the road conditions are still too bad on 191, the road from Prescott to Flagstaff were good enough for a run. This was taken yesterday on 89A just South of Jerome. Lots of snow on the mountains made for a nice change of scenery. Of course it also made my bike dirty as all hell, but it was worth it.  This was taken in Jerome looking at the Flagstaff mountains.  And this was some of the Sedona mountains.  I'll be making at lease one scouting run on 191 sometime in April or early May. Anyone want to go with? I will warn you, it may be cold up in the mountains still in April... | ||

Mark, It has varied through the years, average is about 10. We have had as few as 4, and as many as 30. It's looking like this year we will have around 25 showing up. Nice looking X1 you have there, we would love to see you there. 191 is one of the best Arizona, and the southwest has to offer when it comes to great riding. | ||

I always have beer, and will probably have some rum as well There may be others willing to relax as well. There is hiking, horseback riding, and other activities for those that choose not to ride. 22 days! |
