AlpineStar's Head Quarters is hosting a MotoGP Night event for a live screening of the Australian MotoGP round on October 27th from 8pm to midnight. They'll have a 26 ft screen in their parking lot with raffles, food trucks, vendors and a special motorcycle exhibit. Sounds like fun.

Ride meets at 6pm from Del Amo Motorsports Redondo Beach and will depart for Alpinestars at 7pm!

Met Jack (Rhinowerks) at Del Amo MS where we rode to Alpinestars HDQ with about 14 other sportbikers. He was riding his new Triumph Adventure bike while I was astride my 1125R. I thought I had the only Buell at the destination but an XB showed up later while the race was in progress.

Alpinestars HDQ had a large 26 ft screen in their parking lot showing a live feed from the Australian MotoGP venue which showed the Moto2 race in progress. There was a featured bike show of 10 various bikes (although one was absent) and a food truck. Raffles and drawings for a variety of prizes including several GoPro cameras was enticing. Watching the live feed was quite refreshing as compared to to SPEED TV coverage! Maybe Alpinestars will do this next year as they weren't quite expecting the large turnout they got this year.
