Here's some cabin rental listings for you: http://www.suchescabinrentals.com/ The Lodge at Copperhead also has small cabins (sleep ~6 people max). Sounds like Skeenah Creek will be meet central, they're located here: http://goo.gl/maps/qDXix It's about 10 miles from Copperhead and about 10 miles from C3 Central where a big group will be staying. | ||

I am a new Buell owner. I plan to attend. A great place to stay is High Valley Resort. http://www.highvalleyresort.com/ This is the campground and grass runway that was associated with TWO. Nice cabins and a fair price. | ||

i sent an email yesterday to skeenah via the default email address thru their web page,to obtaining more information about pricing. i asked if there could be a price break comparable to what we had when TWO was open($12.50 a night is what we got charged last year), if the $25 per tent site only allowed one tent per site. i will update everyone if and when i hear back. but if someone does hear from skeenah about pricing please let us all know. | ||

It a get-together-place and dealership on HWY60 South of TWO(RIP) http://www.ridershill.com/ If'n you do, you'll know the food's good, and the dealership specializes in European Bikes. If'n you don't it'll be worth your while to drop by. CABIN UPDATE! I have C3 secured for held for 10/11-14/12 (3 nights). If we have 10 folks stay (10 is max) that breaks down to $100 per person. That will include lots of beer/snacks and simple breakfast items. I will need 100% deposit from everyone in paypal funds soon. PM me if you are interested. I am opening my camp ground for anyone looking for a lay over on their way to Buelltoberfest. Bring your tents. I am East of Knoxville Tn. It will have to be on Thursday the 11 th and I will lead the group to N. Ga Friday am. Of course it will include a BBB party Thursday evening. You know.....Bonfire Beer Burgers, PM me for reservations, and the price is still the same, free of course.  | ||

Fork re-build, and brake pads. I'll be ready for ridin' with y'all. Is anyone going to make any ride-plans before hand, or is everyone just going to wing it? If y'all are just winging it, I'll plan a ride, meeting place and time for Saturday, that way I won't miss all y'all. Hopefully I'll get to see everyone regardless. It'll be easier than just me riding around the mountain side lookin' for Buellers, although it'd be fun I'm sure! | ||

CABIN UPDATE I need someone to take over the cabin organization. Basically you would collect the money and pay the rental to the owner. I have all the info. No contract has been signed, but they do have the dates blocked off. Please PM me. or call six one five 71474 nine nine. I regret to inform yall that I can not commit to coming to BTF this year. For those camping at Skeenah Creek: Please PM me if you need any basic supplies delivered to the campground on Saturday morning. I have a full size cargo van and I will make a Walmart run Friday night for things like bottled water, charcoal, etc. Individual orders will be purchased on separate receipts and I'll bring change. | ||

here is a copy of the email i received from skeenah campground. i hope this helps out with your travel plans. "Good Morning Steve We can block off that section if you guys are coming. It is $25 per night but that is for two people. If it is only one person, it is $12.50 per night. We have made a lot of improvements to the club house and the grounds. I think you guys will love it. Just let me know if you are coming for sure and we will block it out for you." | ||

I am packing for Skeenah. I am leading a group down there Friday am, we should be there early afternoon. I plan to stay Friday and Saturday nights, I will be heading home Sunday. The weather will be a perfect 79F degrees during the day and drop no lower than 60F at night, humidity in the 55% range, the sky will be clear the entire weekend with no wind.(my plan) If in reality the weather will be different.....post it up! |
