OZ left here around 10:30 this morning headed north. I believe he was going to try to make Moncton tonight.He seemed in pretty good spirits. I hope you guys post some pictures for us. |

Got another call from IAMike late this afternoon.
He's crossed into Nova Scoia (sp?).
Figers he would go another 200 miles or so before settling down for the night.
He also is having cell phone problems. Seems the coverage isn't too good up there..... |

For anyone talking to the people coming this way
Myself, Innes and my friend Mark will meet whoever in Corner Brook, NL.
The boat arrives in Port-Aux-Basques at approximately 6am and its about 2hrs to Corner Brook. We will be waiting on the side of the Highway waiting.

Tom, aka Dullorb, is broke down in Cagetown, NB. Jonathan, aka Doughnut, and I have been exploring some options to get Tom and his bike back home to Milwaukee. Check out the Brew City Thread and post your ideas in this thread.

I saw on the Brew City thread that you were willing to donate time to drive up and get Tom but you were worried about expenses.
Maybe set up a PayPal account. I could probably find some spare change and I'm sure other people would too. |

John,
I can charge the vehicle expenses. I just need to be reimbursed for them. Will pick up my own meals and can sleep in the vehicle.
Checked the route on MapQuest and it is only around 1,540 miles from here via New England and the SuperSlab. Figure 4 days round trip. I just can't do a thing with my Miata and need the use of someone's pick up with tow straps and a ramp or truck/trailer rig. |

Today is New Brunswick Day, Dull stuck for another. thinking we are going to get a U-Haul on his side and get him and the AMF Buell home. |

Jonathan...That is probably the most economical route and one written up the most in the various riding publications. From what I have read, the only real challenge is strapping the bike securely.

OK,
Mike's Van and Trailer is in Fort Ann, NY at the Harley Davidsion Retailer.
If Thomas can get there he can take the van, go collect the bike then meet Mike somewhere along the way. They will be leaving Newfoundland Possibly Wednesday but definately by Thursday.
If we can co-ordinate this should not be a problem.

I was going to offer him to motor from the old 650C Honda to cram into the S3.
We have Ozz666 here on the island and I am sure he could put "an arse in a cat" if needed.

Jonathan.....it's actually a lot easier than you'd think. I can give you some pointers when the time comes. I learned a lot about what works and doesn't work when I built my S1. |
