Yep, the MMI cult, with some Buell cult stuff on the side. Theres gonna be a bike show at MMI on saturday the 24th, if anyone is interested. Theres gonna be some big name custom bike builders there.The shows from 10:00-3:30. I will not be going to the Team Az bike night. Looks like I got the stator bug. This sux, gas is going up and I don't have my bike. I won't be doing anything at all so I can put gas in my thirsty truck. | ||

Hey guys, I need a head count for SpringFast, the Tal Wi Wi is wanting a headcount. Has anyone made reservations yet? Like last year, there is another group wanting rooms for that weekend, and the lodge is wanting to know how many rooms we really need. (I think we have 8 rooms reserved for SpringFast) PM me, and let me know if you have reservations or not, they want us to release a few rooms. | ||

Yesterday I went and did my first ever desert race on my KTM 530. It was a Qualifier format race with 4 20 mike loops that you raced two test sections of the loop and had about a 4 mile transfer area between that was for resting. So basically it was like 8 small races that they will add up your times from and then see who did it fastest. I signed up for the 30+(age) Bclass. Not sure how well I did in my class yet but it was a AWESOME time! They should have results posted early next week. I'm SUPER sore today thou! Couple pics:   | ||

Several Buell Riders are riding to Death Valley this weekend. Beatty Nevada on Friday and Saturday night. then back on Sunday. the northern Cal crew are actually leaving on thursday and riding towards Death Valley. I am going to try to leave on Friday morning and meet up with them. fyi. REX I think we are having about 3-4 S2's that will be there. | ||

I just talked to the Tal Wi Wi lodge, and there have been NO reservations made for the SpringFast group. Kelly has reserved a room, but not in our block of rooms. There is another group that will be there the same weekend, just like last year, and the lodge will probably release the rooms by the end of the month. Basically its the snooze you lose situation. When the lodge is full, you will have to get a cabin down in town. We currently have 4 rooms saved, when you make your reservations, make sure you let them know you are with the SpringFast group! | ||

on the death valley s2 ride and other motorcycle brands this weekend. Ridge Crest California is where the california folks are staying on Thursday night. Friday and Saturday night, they are staying in Beatty Nevada. Motel 6, I believe. I am thinking of either riding up early Friday morning, or leaving late Thursday night ( depending on how cold it is) . If I leave on thursday night, I am thinking I would ride to Laughlin and spend the night. $28 dollars per night. Then get up early on Friday and get to beatty around noonish. It is an 8 hour ride from Phoenix to Beatty if I leave on Friday morning. I am thinking of leaving around 6:30 am. That would get me there around 4-5 pm. Any other takers? | ||

That looks like a blast Nick! I just invested in a really nice mountain bike... and I'm thrashing the hell out of it now. Next in line is a dirtbike  How do you like the KTM? I was hoping to get an EXC 450 or similar. | ||

Mostly South Mountain. Haven't had my truck running until recently (had to fix it from previous moron owner), and I still haven't made my MTB motorcycle mount yet :P I live 3 miles from SoMo, so I ride there most often, but I ride with a friend other places. I just recently started MTB so I am not familiar with most of the trails. | ||

Got my bike back on thursday. Shes running great, just hope it stays that way. They replaced the stator and regulator, $1,200 bill! Thank goodness for warranty. | ||

Just back from death valley. great trip. ended up having to drive back to vegas on saturday for a new tire. the rear tire was fine when I left. I got there and had threads showing. took most of saturday to drive the 2 1/2 hours back to vegas, get the tire and changed, and then back to beatty. good time though. Very, Very Windy! wow. | ||

I also have the clutch engine protector plates for both sides. brand new, never put on the bike. I bought them in case I ever scratched up mine.
