Darren- I hope you can work it out. I'd say we could shift the date but it's probably better to lock it down NOW so people will put it on their calendars and work towards it.

Well my wife and I have been blessed with this little girls presence in our lives on monday evening. It was a lot of work but as you can tell, it was well worth it. We are very happy, excited, and thankful for our first baby. It really makes you take a step back and look at how much of a miracle life really is and how delicate it can be. I never thought I could be turned into such a mushy sensitive person, but your first child can really do that to you.

I'm looking at the leather and boots and helmets first. Got to get the gear!!! I already have the baby carrier to tote her on my chest or back. So I guess that is a temporary seat for her.

So is THREE up uncalled for??

No clubmans here but I did get to go for a ride last night after work. It was nice and dark and had a coworker to tag along with me and it made it fun. It sure was windy and messed with the bike a small amount but was ok. There is not a lot of traffic at 11pm!!! There is Lake Murray behind us and man was it white capping.

Heck yeah! That thing is sweet! Its getting a new front rotor compliments of HD. It still had one month of warranty left. 2008 3800 miles. It was repoed in alaska. I didnt get to take a modified pic of it in the day yet but I will.

Now I need a buyer for the xb. Let me know if you know someone.

I just bought a 1999 S3T. I am loving finally getting one and joining the biker/riding brotherhood, especially on a Buell!

I have found out though, that having my local HD dealership work on my bike will cost me a small fortune and could soon rack up what I purchased the bike for in the first place.

I recently had a 5000 mi service, new front iso, new rocker box gaskets, and my rear brake checked for sticking. It wasn't cheap and a few more repair bills like that might take the joy out of owning a tuber.

I am hoping to find a fellow Bueller/rider in my area that knows how to work on the old school bikes who might be willing to help me learn how to wrench on my own bike.

Anyone willing? If so, PM me and we can talk.

Thanks.

Stacey, Do you have a service manual for it? They are really easy bikes to work on, i used to have a m2. Basic tools and the manual and you can do most anything you need to on the bike.

Well just had my Acl and meniscus repaired from a basketball injury that happened at the end of January.Crutches suck!I might hurt my other leg just trying to get around.I will not be able to put weight on the leg for two weeks, then hopefully I can be a little more mobile.Riding the bike is out for at least 3 months, which is crazy to even think about.Y'all be careful out there.

David, sorry to hear about your knee. I just had a allograft, (transplant of an tissue from one individual to another), on my left knee. Had to stay off it for six weeks. I'm riding again, but man did it suck not riding. Just make sure the battery tender is on. Good Luck.

Hello fellas... It's good to see you guys are still on badweb and enjoying your Buells. I've been off the XB12STT for a few months due to knee surgery but took it for a 100 mile spin today. The bike ran great but the engine light kept going on and off. It would come on at cruising speeds and at lower speeds. It seemed to go off every time I would drop a gear and get the revs up. Do any of you guys have this problem or have any idea what it could be? Thanks.

Not really here, but I had an issue before with my XB that threw the light but mine did start losing one cylinder. Only reving up the motor would bring the light off and the cylinder back on. Turned out to be a bad fuel injector. But since yours isn't missing a cylinder, then that may not be it unless it starts doing that.

Glad to see your back riding.

Whats with all the knee surgeries???

Trying to stay "fit" and cost me a knee.I did have the allograft procedure and had PT today.I got 90 degree range of motion easily and hopefully in 2 weeks I'll be off these crutches.Everything appears to be ok at this point.

Thanks for the well wishes. Now somebody go for a ride!
