I already got the time off work, I will be there with the xb I think. Also, put the right side scoop on and so far the fan hasn't come on at all, but it has been cool in Tucson so far, will see what happens when the weather warms up.....

Hey guys...as most know im stuck in Baghdad due to a visa problem.

My wife got a call about a recall that needed done on my 2010 1125R. I have sent a couple emails to Arrowhead to no avail. wont be going back there not even with my harley.

I would like to know what its about if any one knows....then maybe if its pressing or time sensitive some one could get the parts ordered for me.

My wife just isnt the bike person to get it done for me.

Thanks hope to see you guys before too long.

Tim

No new recalls that I know of but the charging system harness upgrade did just expire... I'm 99% sure Andrew did/had done your upgrade thou.

I personally did not let them do mine. I think its a half ass bandaid.

Many of the bike that got the upgrade had stators fail anyway. It's not much of a help. I think you are better off w/o it

I had it done on my CR and haven't had any problems since. I'm only on my second stator and 20,000 plus miles.

Hey guys,

I have some friends running their cars out at Firebird this Friday night. I'm going to ride my Buell out there after I get off work and make some runs. If anyone wants to come out let me know!

What is the entry fee? Do they require full leathers? Or is synthetic ok?

I have some free time, and it would be fun to see what the Uly could do.

I;m not really sure what they require... I wore jeans/boots and my synthetic armored jacket the first time I went. I would call or e-mail them to be sure. I know you need full leathers above 120mph because I got stopped the first time I went and told no more runs w/o leathers. I have heard they require a kill switch lanyard but they didn't say anything about it at tech last time I was there. I THINK its $20 to run or $10 to watch but wouldn't promise it.

So, my S3 needs bottom end work after all,
according to the tech, and I trust this guy, the crankshaft bearing is shot, needs connecting rods, pistons, rings, something done for the cylinders....any advice? I really want to do this right so it will last as I am putting this bike back together as she was my first Buell...money is not really the problem but I don't want to go crazy either.
Thanks in advance

1eyert: If you trust this guy take his advice. A lot of thing can go bad when you have a bad crankshaft bearing.

Xtreem6669: I didn't see the post till it was to late. I would have gone out. Looks like you did pretty good. I'm guessing your talking about AMP with the db test. I'm gonna be out there tomorrow with Adrenaline Performance.

I ended up working on my 85 toyota pickup... lots of work yet to do.

Pretty damn good ET on street tires with no wheelie bar : )

1eyert,

If you aren't planning on doing anything crazy, I would just get the stock stuff cleaned and ceramic coated. Jet-Hot makes different coatings for pretty much everything internally.

Also, have the crank balanced, they do not come balanced. I have heard good things about total seal rings.

It depends on whether I get the internship I want or not... If I'm still in AZ at the time I would very much like to go.

Xtreme6669, Looks like ya'll had a good time. Wish I could have gone. Short rides on sunday are best for me. I work saturdays and have somewhere to be at 4pm on sundays. As long as I can be back by 2pm on sundays I'm good to go. I won't be doing that ride on the 18th-20th. School on friday, work on saturday and no money for everything else. Sounds like it would be fun though.
