I'm going to meet the group at McDonald's in Huntley. On Rt. 47 around 10 am. Then I lead to Utica taking backroads. (The small black lines on the GPS) cell 815-228-2665 (and I can talk while riding with my Autocom system) | ||

WOW! I haven't checked the web all week. I,m missin all kinds of good stuff. I'm up for Sunday, Se ya's at 8:00 Bomber, Great Idea. I ride alot but would concider myself pretty green when it comes to paved riding technique. regarding the bar hopping... I'm with ya. I'd rather get some riding in. As far as the House on the rock goes, I am very interested in it. I too was 20 min or so late to the last meeting (thanks to work) and must have missed the conversation. Sorry... and still interested. | ||

Looking at the map I'm thinking I would prefer meeting you all closer to Utica. Can you come up with a time and place in that area? Maybe meet when you stop for lunch and go from there. | ||

Sure we should be in Utica between 12:30 and 1. Also you can call me 815-228-2665 while I'm riding and I'll tell you where we are. I have a system in my helmet that let's me talk on the phone. See you in Utica. Probaly eat at Canal Port or Duffy's. Both are good. | ||

Like I said Chris the House on the Rock has been brought up several times so either you have been late to every meeting or you weren't paying attention.LOL | ||

Fish, you can get 2 starved rock in a little less than 2 hrs if you just stay on the interstate & haul @ss. My brother inlaw used to live near there & we were down there every other weekend. Somewhere around 135 miles or so each way. | ||

Yea its about 135 miles but I've got the backroads mapped out for the ride down.... real Buell ridin! | ||

Ride to the Rock -Update- Glad everyone came and we had great weather! Was fun to meet at Duffy's in Utica for lunch. Oops we had a belt failure but no harm done,....then a little ride to the Rock,..... after the unveiling of the weasel squeezers at the Rock,....we had a couple of Buellers "rub" the Rock,...and after a little trailering... everyone is home safe. Fieryxb has a sprain she just called. So thanks to all for a great day ridin, let's keep doin it!  |
