Hey folks, I'm back from my vacation in Kentucky, although I did NOT want to come back !!! I'm for whatever involves riding in regards to the meeting. I did put on about 850 miles these past few days, 480 in one day and while it was fun the seat on the XB SUCKS !!! But everyone else I rode with were complaining too, and we had several different bikes, so maybe it wasn't all seat !! LOL Are we all still going to House on the Rocks ??? I've never been there and I SURE wanna go ???? PLEASE !!!! CJ  | ||

Its another ride was suppose to be the 25th but I haven't generated enough interest to get a group rate so I haven't been able to work on it.I'll be bring it up at next meeting to get interest one last time.Then maybe pick a slot for August. BTW Dyna I thought you were stopp'n by yesterday??? | ||

Got home late from Milwaukee & the wife was beat. I guess all the running around after the grandson wore her out & she passed out on the couch. Never even took the bikes out once yesterday. | ||

I'm trying to work it out still Mike.I really want to be there.BTW whats up with you wanting a BUELL hillclimber???Dave at Appleton has a used S1 he might be able to give ya a great deal on??Also the swingarm on 98 and earlier would be easier to stretch the swingarm. | ||

The hillclimb Buell is for a bike club member that has competed since he was about 8 yrs old. He's in his 20's now and has been ridin other pushrod's and wants his own and likes the Buells. I suggested a Buell- he likes em now. I gave him Daves # to call him. So your doin the track day -RIGHT? I can't wait its a LOT of fun! | ||

CJ Griz has brought it up at past meetings and so have I and we didn't hear any interest other then Bomber,Jason,myself,Hellion and NN.Thats five people of interest in the what last 5 months that I have had it on the calender???To me it wasn't enough for me to work on this event.If you's have had interest in going then I need you's to speak-up sooner.It would help also if sometimes we got some feedback or some idea's for rides or destinations. | ||

CJ- you had a good time eh? Ya the XB seats leave a little...a LOT to be desired for long hauls. I know, I've put on almost 1000 miles in 2 weeks now.... glad I have the "touring" seat on the XB. Ask FieryXB about her trip too, she has some miles to talk about now. |
