testing the waters for a possible sale here on the badweb for this bike. i am considering all offers for someone to own this unique bike, collectible for it's rarity, unique history, and low mileage....background as follows:

HOLY COW, EDDIE!! WTH?!

I'll trade you my one-owner, adult ridden '06 XB12X Even-Steven! Might seem like a lop sided deal at first, but consider this. My bike already has 49,350 miles on it and has proven itself.

This bike, while newer & sexier has yet to be proven!

Wow - Seriously, that is super cool that you won that. Don't suppose I could make my offer even better by giving you my bike, plus double what you paid for the tix? LOL

Congrats man! Happy Late Birthday!!

thank you for your efforts on my behalf.....

HOWEVER.....

bike was sold 3 weeks ago. the guy that bought it was showing off, lost control of the bike and trashed it mightily. also broke his lower leg and knee. when my mechanic did the pre-sale work on it, he mentioned that someone not familiar with the xb family might have it get away from him.....guess he was right............

i was sick enough that i had to let her go, but this REALLY got to me when i went in to see the mess.......WTF !!!

A one of a kind bike like that, and the douche had to trash it? Most of those parts are probably impossible to find now. Good job. I would be absolutely sick if I sold my bike and someone beat on it like that.

Just a couple of inaccuracies in this thread; Fasted: There was no “showing off”. It was simply an accident. Jandj davis: The owner is a very experienced rider, is not a feminine hygiene product and it is safe to say, has more miles under his belt and is a better rider than most of the keyboard quarterbacks on this thread.

If there was no mis-behavior on the new owners part, then I do indeed need to retract my statements regarding my feelings toward the man. Accidents happen. It's a real shame one involved this lovely motorcycle.
