Are these helmets as good as they say for cutting down the air noise. My HJC is a piece of crap. I can barley here my IPOD over 50 MPH. For $100 I would would get one of the EXO-1000 if they are quiet.

The only issue and its a minor one, is the weight. Compared to almost any of the others out there this helmet is a bit heavier. My 700 was also on the heavier side but not noticeable until I went to a Shoei rf1000 when they were blowing them out earlier this year. Is it noticeable? Probably depends on the individual I guess.

Nice XBS - does not look like it has the fish eye thing like my contour... have been itching for a ride... sat mornings have become an issue because I am out of town every weekend now until sat afternoons.. hope to get out this week during the nice weather...

Livnloud- I have not looked into Hells Canyon for this year. We had originally talked about a Lolo pass run the same weekend but due to weather this may get pushed out to July.

So right now everything is undecided.

What route did you have in mind running over there?

What's up guys, long time since I stuck my nose in here. I hope some of you make it down for Moto GP this year and bring your bikes. I went on a bad ass ride today, I'm hoping to show you guys this one if you make it down.

Not sure what time I am going to be able to leave Friday and I will be riding two up, so I may just bomb it over 84 then do a good ride both Saturday and Sunday.
