Listen Up, Youse Guys!

I need to know who is coming to the Rally and what your T-shirt size is. I have to know by July 1, so We'll have enough time to get everything done. Terri and I will bring the shirts with us, and everybody will get their shirt in St. John's when we get there. But we need to know who's going to be there, and what size shirt they want.

Would you rather have a tight Medium or a loose Large?

So Far, I've gotten responses from three people. If you all don't let me know what size you want, I'm going to get all size Large (with an XL for Iamike). These are going to be top quality Hanes Beefy T's, or something comparable.
It's going to be an Adventure! In a month, we're going to a whole new and different place to see things that we've never seen before; and to ride on new, twisty roads! We're going to make new friendships, have stories to tell, and when we're old farts we'll be saying, "yeah, I remember..." We are going to have FUN!!!

Crusty,
Even though I can't go due to a family conflict can I buy one too!
My son will be home from the Navy for 2 weeks right during the trip.
We haven't seen him since Christmas and won't see him again for at least 8 months.
I would be a very crappy Dad if I headed out on a bike trip instead.

If so, I'm like Mike,,, an XL type!

Even thought I can't go in person, I will sure be there in spirit.

IAMike,
When are you leaving and what's your route?
Maybe I can do a bit of your first leg just for fun.
If the timing is right, may I can get Carl to ride along!

Crusty, whatever will be fine, I'm 5'11" but not hugely built.

Brad, be a mega-dad, buy him a Buell & bring him along.
If that idea's not a flier, never mind, we understand family comes first, give him my best regards too when you see him.

Anyone else want anything from this side of the pond (apart from cheese, I've already got that covered) let me know.
It's only 5 weeks to go, hooray.

Also, I don't think you can get a boat to Goose Bay

The boat leaves cartwright and arives at Goose bay 12 hours later, travels at night, but only goes there twice a week, thats the boat Dana and i are on, forget the name, if you want i can look it up

we need to know who's going to be there, and what size shirt they want.

Sorry for the late response, i was in TN, for the last 4 days at the Honda Hoot, and due to rain everyday, i had to get over mt fear of riding in the rain in a hurry, seems to have worked, made over 200 miles in the worst downpour you could imagine, fun none the less, any way 2 xl please let me know how much for each Crusty, and if there is anything from Chicago that i can bring let me know(no room for a deep dish pizza, sorry)

Hey hi dee ho. I haven't really been on badweb for about a month (darned motorcycling weather is cutting into my quality internet time)

Either-whoo, I am a large. Looking at stuff and whatnot I decided that I am going solo to the ferry. I think I am going to get a reservation in the next week, so does anyone have a set time yet? If not I will prolly choose one arbitrarily this weekend and get there then, come hell or high water and let everyone know when it is if they want to hit it that time.

When the 6:00 AM Ferry docks at Argentia on August 1, Terri and I will be at the Terminal waiting. Look for a blue M2 and a Sunset Orange Blast. I suggest you get your reservation ASAP, the ferry people told me it gets booked up pretty frequently.

Newfie,

Sorry I didn't call yet. I have been battling a head cold, allergies and outrageous telephone bills since I moved up here (in that order). Damnnn I am tired of feeling sick.

Anyhow, friends should arrive in your neighborhood around July 1st. Tim has your cell phone number. If you hook up, fine. If not, no big deal. Will drop my home phone # on ya.

Brad-
I'm almost certain that we'll be trailering over to Buffalo, NY. After that 1,100mi ea. way interstate ride last summer I don't really want to do it again.
I'd just as soon get out of the car fresh and hit the New England roads ready to ride.
I put both bikes up on the trailer last weekend and they fit. I have carried 3 dirtbikes on it but never both road bikes. I even gave it a fresh coat of paint and repacked the bearings for the adventure.
I can't believe how much I'm spending getting both bikes ready for this trip. Some of it was neccessary but some of it is for 'just in case'.
With my Buell's top-end then the stator going out. Brake pads and now a worriesome battery and tires, it has gone over $1,000. The Honda is going to be close to $500 deciding on whether it needs a new chain or not.
But hey, how ofter does a person get to ride to Newfoundland with his son and best friends?

You got that right Mike.
I truly wish I could make the trip with you.
But, family comes first.
I miss Carl a ton, I wouldn't miss his time home for anything.

You noodlehead, the ferry don't run to Argentia on the 1st!!! I called up the reservation lady and she thought I was an idiot. I may be but I still like to earn a title on my own merits.

I think I will be booking the 9am from Sydney to P.A.B.
