getting my front pulley here in the next week prob. should be back on the road soon :P cant wait, bike still sounds good when i start it up every other day or so hope to be back at it soon . |

Isn't it quite interesting how you can park your bike outside under your new shed for the first time and within a week or so you find a spot where a cat decided to mark your bike as his territory. Ready to kill a cat. I have hundreds of trees and a fence and bushes and no cat piss but I park my bike under the shed and BAM cat piss on the front sprocket cover and frame.....  |

Hugh, I'll go for the 29-31 ride.
My bike seems ready and willing for longer rides. Still have time to checks things before going.

lol my cat ran out the front door one day and ran down my steps and sprayed my front tire within like 5 secs i was like wtf. |

well i thought i was gonna be able to make it since im fixing the front pulley tomorrow, but seems now i have to replace the isolators  not confortable riding long distances with isolators broke or worn |

ohwell went riding by myself lol if anyone is interested in riding anytime that live in the midlands or close let me know so we can hook up or something, im not crazy and like to go speedlimit :P thanks. |

That makes you an official South Carolina Buell Rider in my book!
Keep an eye out here for any group rides and make plans to go. Note the one coming up in a few weeks in the Alps of North Carolina.
Any other SCBR members can chime in and comment now!

If any of you upstate Buellers want to ride this coming weekend let me know.I have been trying to go for a mtn. ride for a couple weeks and things just keep arising.

Hellraged I am located on US Hwy 1 near barnyard flea market.
I am trying to decide if I can come up with something that week to get me out of working that Friday night if they need me. I would rather leave in the morning. I won't find out any information as to when I will get to leave til that Wednesday before the trip.
What time tomorrow are you thinking about riding?
I have a bit of work around the house I would like to get done but I may need to get out and take a ride...... |

So, how many do we have going to Little Switzerland at the end of the month? I'll be there, but it looks like my wife won't be coming along. She fell and broke a bone in her ankle this week. |

Hoping to get in the area Friday morning. Riding in the dark to get there by then. Any ideas where folks might want to meet up yet?

Don, where are you staying? I just sent in for reservations at the Diamondback Lodge; hopefully I'll get a confirmation pretty soon.
As for some place to meet, we could meet to eat Friday night. In Little Switzerland there's the Chalet Restaurant at the Switzerland Inn, the Fowl Play Pub at the same location, and the Mountain View Restaurant. There are a bunch of restaurants in Spruce Pine which is about 8 miles away.
i want too just dont want to piss off the wife lol
Nick: Simple solution- get a room and bring the wife! There is non-free camping at Bear Den Campground (see link in the thread for the meet), there are probably a lot of other places fairly close by.
Matt- yea, that would have been cool to hear the RR1200 run. It was pretty dang cool just to see it and sit on it though. |

I sent in for Diamondback too and waiting now for the request.
I will be ready to go on Friday, is anybody going to ride up as a group? If so... I will be willing to ride up with anyone that wants to meet on the way. |
