Yes but no bike presently available. I plan to work on the M2 today since I am still waiting on one part to get the Uly going. I doubt I will have the M2 going. The oil leak is around the oil pump and the gear cover is in the way. To get the problem I have to dig and that will take time.

Having two bikes and still nothing to ride sucks! I know because I have been there.

I am actually down to one right now because the tires on the M2 are pretty much gone.

Let me know when you get up and running again.

well Im not new I went on a ride with the Bojangels gang but I lost tuch for some time and no one was posting so I sent out the call. Sorry that I missed the ride on sunday but I was to hungover to ride. but I want to do some thing.

I unfortunately do not get down to ride with the Bojangles crowd nearly as often as I would like. Then again I have been riding in the mountains so I can not complain. We need to get a ride out to the Fish Camp soon. Last time we pulled it off we got seven Buells together from all around eastern North Carolina. It was a lot of fun. Maybe we can spark some interest.

Just introducing myself here. Bought my first Buell today, got an 06 XB12X. Loved it until I owned it 4 hours and got pulled over! Well still like it. Anyone know Carlos in Jacksonville that has a XB12R(lightning)? I think thats what he has. X marine that likes VW's to.

Welcome Jon & thanks for the PM!

I was thinking about these Jacksonville rides as I was reading your PM. I'm not sure who the 'ringleader' was for these rides, but I hope they chime in. I'm busy this weekend as my folks are in town, but after that I'm game. I'd like to see what's around other than Old Maple Hill Road (not that there is anything wrong with OMHR - I'll have to show it to you someday) from some of the 'locals'.

Hope some more activity shows up in the Jacksonville Rides section!

We are planning a ride to Maple Hill next weekend - 11-16-08. At least three of us will be riding out of here and heading south to Jacksonville's HD/Buell dealership. I am still planning the route, but we will probably head through some of the better motorcycle roads on the way down versus the straightest path.

Anyone interested in joining in? We are thinking of making it to Holland Fish Camp by 2pm.

I think it is high time that I dust off the Buell, the only riding I have been doing lately is riding dirt bikes with my son. Let me know when and where and I will see what I can work out.

I should have read this before reading e-mails for work. Here is the agenda for now. We are picking up bikes along the way.

We are heading out of Grifton at 10:30am.
We will meet up with 1313 in Polksville at the gas station at the corner of US-58 & US-17 at 11:30am.
We will pick up PoohSpot at New River HD/Buell Dealership and 12:30pm.
We will then head for Old Maple Hill Rd abondon gas station and arrive around 1:30pm.
Fish Camp by 2:30pm.

If anyone else wants to jump in this is where we will be. Ride safe and see you there.

Be careful on OMHR the deer are active in that area now.
I have seen a number of deer road side just 10 ~ 15 Mi south in Rockypoint
