Yup, the guy that was going to run it was there, it is at Eastgate mall somewhere in the parking lot, which is the monster mall right there at the 275 exit for the dealer. Let me know if you need more specific directions.

Bill,

Once we get to the Eastgate Mall, will it be obvious where the BattleTrax event is being held?

well, that website calendar thingie's pretty much a waste ; ; ; ; ;

I asked Reg about other b'traxes, and said the site would be updated that day . . . .. . ah well . . . . .we'll have to figure out how to do it ourselves (btw, SCCA had a heart attack when I asked em if we could come along and play with them at Solo and Solo II events)

;-}

FireboltGo... It's not that big a mall, so it should not be that hard to find them. All the guy said about the location was that it was *not* at the movie theatre (they had fresh unpainted pavement there, and was the first choice).

According to Lance at Eastgate HD, BTX is supposed to be around the back, near Sears... they are charging $10 to run - did they charge at the other OH event???

It was $10 if you wanted to join for the whole series, but free if you did not want to enter. I think everyone there just paid up anyway, even the ones that had no intention of running the whole series. It felt like the polite thing to do.

They gave us free t-shirts though, so they still probably managed to loose money on us ; )

Ten bucks? Wow . . .Grounder and I paid 184.50, EACH last year for the last round of the Wisconsin series . . . .

of course, we paid the county trooper, and the dough went to the state general fund (lucky son of a gun got a two-fer with us), but still, I'd woulda LOVED to get by with a ten buck charge!

Nice schedule you have there in PA. I wonder what the big difference is between there in PA and here in WI as far as getting numerous events scheduled and getting potential participants to participate?

Is the PA series still a best time event, or a BracketTrax, or both? Regardless, congratulations on what looks like a successful series.

Oh well, back to other stuff ...

MikeJ
we run a Top time of the day class, Bracket class and Class comp.
We have a great Buell dealer network in Central Pa. that give us great support.
We get between 30 and 50 riders at each event

Dealership network support, something for everyone to be competitive in, and probably some good communications/advertising as well. No wonder you draw a good number of people.

Mike...Look at the bright side. Uke's probably will have a BTX next year and Dave is planning on one in Appleton. Combined, that makes BTX in Wisconsin a definite maybe for 2005 unless BRAG does another at next years probable homecoming. Other than that, your guess is as good as anyone's.
