Plans are still a little sketchy, but for sure in the twin cities next weekend, western burbs. After that, all bets are off. Will be heading north to Chisholm and Duluth. Hoping to enjoy cooler temps and twistier roads. Any upcoming rides planned? Hoping to put faces with names! You are just up the road, my sister lives 10 minutes from 494, close to the tonka lake. Taking the XT up on trailer, new fluids, tires, fingers crossed she's ready! My plans are up in the air still after this weekend so not sure how long I will be in metro area. Been so busy teaching (a good thing) doing laundry and other misc. stuff preparing for the trip items that I've not had a chance to check the weather. How's it looking up for this weekend? It's gotta be cooler than it is here (mid 90's, humid and bleah)! Can't wait to go lake swimming sans alligators, water mocassins and amoebas that swim up your nose and eat your brains. The heat is suppose to be decent, if not a bit below "normal".. Maybe in the low 70's. I can probably scare up a few folks if given a bit of lead time.... Currently in TN. Driving thru Illinois is a drag, and the Uly looked plain sad on a trailer thru the mountains this morning! Arriving in Mpls tomorrow. Will ping you when I get internet access.
