Just this past week I was over around Cape St. George (do a search) on the Port-aux-Port Peninsula of the island and the corners are TOTALLY WICKED. I can't wait - actually going back in two weeks to do some more riding. |

Yeah I can't wait either, but what about the restaurants? I can't go too far from food & coffee!

The hell with the restaurants,
I'll get the locals to fill ya up with Moose, Caribou, Seal Flippers, Lobster, Cod, Caplin, etc, etc |

My plans are show up at the ferry on 8-1 and stay for about 4-7 days. I am waiting for someone else to tell me what time to show up at the ferry but if I don't get an answer in the next couple weeks I'll just pick a time for myself. |

first off Brent decided to go to Cali instead of Newfoundland, so he is now at 0%

Aug 7 St. Barb Ferry 1pm-Blanc salbon Labrador
aug 8 ?
Aug 9 Cartwright ferry@7pm
Aug 10 arrive goos bay 8AM-?
Aug 11-14 Trip home via Washington DC played by ear
Aug 16 back to work
Anyone is welcome to join, we will be camping almost the entire way outside of St. Johns and Bar Harbor, and maybe a few other places if its raining

Geez, guys, I just looked at my palm pilot,, and discovered that I drop my kid in Conn. on August 1st, and then go to Bar Harbor with my wife for a week. Unfortunatly, wont have bike with me, but we will be staying at the Holiday Inn.
Maybe we can hook up. Maybe this year I will take the cat across. Any how, my cell is 847.560.3825 if anyone wants to meet up around Bar Harbor that week. |

Well Drew survived his inaugural 600mi. (2-day) ride. I asked him if he was ready for 5,000 now and he said "sure". He did get his eyeful of an '03 CBR600. Hmm. |

Lets get everything firmed up as far as when/where we are meeting, and what ferry we are taking. This is the last leg of my journey that I have to work out. I do know that I will be departing Newfie on the 4th in order to make it back to Southern PA for the welcome home party from RANE...
IAMike... Give me a call so we can finalize details about Buffalo and New England. Anytime after noon tomorrow works for me.

It looks like I'll be about a day behind what you currently have planned for your itinerary, I may be able to play catch up though... Shoot me an email and let me know how concrete your plans are. I have to be in St. Louis on the 28th and Grand Rapids MI on the 29th.

O.K., Let's build some Enthusiasm!
In a little over a month, we're going to the easternmost part of North America! I hope to see Cape Spear, Icebergs, whales, beautiful scenery,a regatta, and some really nice and twisty roads. We're going to be the largest group of Buells to ever congregate in the whole Province EVER! (uh, Newfoundland is a Province, right?) Just getting there will be an adventure, then we'll build more adventures while we're there. We'll also build friendships. I've been looking forward to this since the 20th anniversary, last year.
Newfie; could you please put up a couple of pictures just to whet our appetites?

& yes all of you can now see how my mind works & will know what to expect,
By the way, I was sitting in the sun at home the other day dreaming about nothing in particular, & my darling wife woke me up & said I was grinning in my sleep so I must have been thinking about either; my pickup, my bike, or going to Newfieland,
