Paul I talked to Mike at Gails before they even started building the new place.He used to be a local 8 plumber.Gails chose a builder that would build the building for so much a square foot,then the builder let out the bidds,he went non-union.Im sure that alot of HD riders are PRO-UNION,but Im thinking it may be too little to late to change any minds now.Gails could have chosen a builder that would have guaranteed all union work,but thats what would have had to happen.Lets face it,as long as the building keeps the rain out,and has a fresh coat of paint on it,thats all that matters.Give it a few years and we will see if it starts coming apart. |

I would ride there with you,but not to crash the BBQ,I would rather educate them on the advantages of qualified UNION TRADESMAN,and the myth about non-union being alot cheaper and just as good craftsmanship.I know several non-union plumbing shops who's labor rates are alot more than a union shop.That just puts more money in the owners pockets,he pays the help less,or he can even pay them the same,or more,but with no benefits or insurance.If every UNION member would boycott just the south store for 1 month,they would get the picture,everything revolves around their pocketbook,so thats where you have to convince them. |

Rough week. I wrote that over the coarse of about an hour and a half it came out all messed up. Oh and I think I figured out what the problem was with Zues. I looked when I got home and found that the wrong name was on my bag from Central it read: Paul Fugate! hahaha he thought I was Paul! It all makes sense now! Must have just been caught off guard when it was me that picked em up.. |

Yup, it works now.. After I talked with you I ran through the whole system again. Traced it down to the flasher relay it was the only thing I couldn't get a for sure reading on. Keith called me when he was a few minutes from his house I told him where I was at with it. He had an extra flasher relay so I met him over at his place. We swapped it out and its been working fine so far!

WOW! two major failures in one week? maybe Buell will goodwill the whole bike for you.
I told you, you should have gotten rid of it! I can't even imagine what that's gonna cost from Keith, and all this after you just spent three dollars to ressurect it earlier this week. man I sure feel sorry for you, your wife is probably having fits about all the money you are pouring into repairs. Don't give up on it Derek resale is at an all time low. I am so glad you have a support group here local to help you deal with all the mental anguish associated...... It sure saved me!

Dave, being newlywed, I can finance all of these projects just on the condom savings.
I came home with a lighter yesterday, that I found at a convenience store.... It has a picture of a naked lady that lights up when you open the lid, and her arm MOVES over her hoo-haa when you depress the button. very erotic! I'm playing with it now (the lighter!)
My wife is having fits over that, and it only cost $5.50..... I'm not sure if it's the price that bothers her though.
Regardless, she has no idea about the associated costs of building a 100+hp firebolt....twice, or repairing/rebuilding an X1 at the same time. Did I tell you the racecar is at the painter$.
I am running a tight ship, and no she can't afford... brand name macaroni? soft toilet tissue?

I may be exaggerating a little bit about how tight a ship I run.....
I can't get her to pay her cable/internet bill. So they shut it off.....since there's nothing on TV now, she's BUYING DVD's............
example: Last night I got to sit through part (could only take about five minutes of it) of season four Sex and the City Dvd collection....
you can't reason with them.....How can you afford DVD's that are $40 a pop but can't pay a $90 per month bill?????? I just laugh! Then I threaten to choke, then I laugh again, then I threaten........
