Yeah, It's killing me to sell it. I really want it to go to a good home and have it's restoration finished. It will be such a cool bike when complete. Flat black frame and components, bright red rims, and carbon fiber bodywork. It was a torque monster before I took it apart. It would lift the front wheel with the throttle only in first through third. Unfortunately Uncle Sugar needs my money to help out those who don't wish to work for a living. Hello SC Buell Riders,
I need some info from you, and I'd really rather it not get posted here. If you could PM me with any info you have it would be greatly appreciated.
Without further adieu I'm looking for information regarding the Florence, SC area. Cool riding areas - how close? Any Badwebbers nearby? If you're not nearby, how far are you from Florence? Stuff like that.
Sorry to be so hush-hush, but in Email I can discuss openly.

Hopefully 1313 got some good info from us; I e-mailed him last week.
I got a little further into my Uly over the weekend. Front connecting rod crank bearing is shot. What's worse, the metal flung out of this failing bearing got into the cylinders and chewed up the cylinders and pistons.
I'm considering options right now- I'm either gonna find a decent used engine or do a Six Million Dollar Man rebuild on this one ("we have the technology- we can make him better!"). |

Well guys, I had pull my offer to sell the S1. The wife got home from work and freaked. Apparently she is as attached to it as I am. I guess it is a good thing to have a wife who gets mad at you for selling a bike rather than buying one. |

Yeah, still have the M2. Both of us were out of the country for about 2 years so no real riding going on. I put a new battery in hers the other day and hope to get it out soon. I don't even have the break in miles on my XB12SS yet! Will have to take care of that soon. |

I know he was running a kt pipe on his stepped m2 frame. Thats a pipe i would like to get, i hear its louder than the kooks lol |

For those of you that may be interested, Trident Tech is having a car and bike show on April 30. I made a deal with a friend of mine who has a 1960-ish Willys that if he enters his I would enter the puddlepirate mobile Sportster/Buell/abomination, and turns out he had already registered.

OK you SC Buell Freaks, I have an assignment for ya.
There is a thing called the Summerville Flowertown Festival going on this weekend.
Do any of you ever attend this event? I hear it's a pretty big deal in the Summerville area.
If you do, I'd like for you to keep any eye our for a particular vendor/booth.
It's one by Francis Metal Works. They sell really neat yard art. Birds made from rocks and metal.
Anyway, if you are at the festival and come across the booth, stop and say Hi to my daughter!
Can't miss her, she's the one with the super curly hair.. plus she's the only gal working the booth. The other guy is her future father in law.
I'm not asking you to buy anything but just stop by and say Hi... my daughter would get a kick out of it.. (me too)!

Alright Buell brethern,
I can finally speak freely. I will be moving from NC to SC to begin a new job in Florence, SC. From how things have been transpiring thus far, it appears that the relocation will be a long and drawn out process. I hope that things are squared away by the time of my already approved vacation for Homecoming, but I'm not going to hold my breath...
So, who's near Florence? Sorry, I don't know the lay of the land yet, so I have to ask. Also, can anyone give me some info of the area/surrounding areas/good places to ride?

Looks like we don't have any members in Florence right now; I'll send you a PM with some of the guys on the Buell e-mail list that are relatively close to Florence.
I guess we're overdue for an SC Buellers meet. Anybody got any ideas for a meet?
My Uly is engineless right now. I bought a 2009 XB12R engine off of ebay last weekend. That should arrive in the next day or two. Looks like I'll have go get a 2009 XB12X wiring harness to be able to install that. Hopefully I can still find one. |

Matt, I'm planning on selling the good parts. Heads (complete) are good, cases are good, transmission is good, throttle body is good. There will probably be more, the final tally depends on if I want to keep anything as spares. |
