The M2 left the barn last night! We're hoping that the leak was caused by a loose bolt. Time shall tell. Gonna take it out again tonight for another test ride.

That bike sounds so good! Couldn't wait for Carlos to get it all back together so I could just sit on it! I love that bike!

Not a single LEO was seen on Old Maple Hill Road yesterday.

No other sportbikes either.

Just some SLOW cruisers. They actually had to brake for the curves.

It was a shame that nobody else joined in. The announcement I wanted to make at the fish camp still can't be made public at this time...

Rode the 1125 for the first time yesterday (this year)......man it ruled!
Did just under 200 miles while going nowhere, just riding randomly through davidson, forsyth, and guilord counties
It was nice to get out.
And I'll have it back out in a little bit.

Man it feels good to be on the street again!

Crap, looks like I toasted another battery. But, I finally figured out why they kept crapping out. Just placed an order with American Sport Bike, hope to be back on the road by next weekend. Anybody thinking about riding down to Franklin for Big Jim's Ride just before Memorial Day? If the weather looks decent, I'm gonna keep it in mind.

Got the Pcar back last Friday with a really nice new aftermarket shifter installed, but had to drive it home without a shift knob. So, I'll take a thorough test drive in the morning with the new knob. Hopefully, no fine tuning will be needed.

Nance, your first photo above is looking directly at our house - we can see the tip of Pilot Mountain from the guest bedroom.

Hanging Rock is cool. I met Alex in Danbury and he took me to a neato waterfall I'd never been to. Had to do some hiking - wish he hadda warned me there'd be exercise involved and I wouldn't have gained so much weight this winter...

I haven't posted here in a while so thought I would check in with my latest mod. Going back and forth between the 1125R and the Sprint I always am amazed and how much better the suspensions is on the Buell. So I finally got tired of being disappointed in the Sprints handling or rather ill-behaviors and took it into to Traxxion last week for a complete upgrade. Wow, what a difference. It now feels like a completely different bike. Links to pictures below.

This morning my friend in Chapel Hill who is putting me up for a few weeks offered to have the Piglet Party at her house. I am house sitting for about a week and a half. I am looking for a temporary apartment, no lease or a month to month lease, in the area. A room rental is ok if it has a bed as I will probably not ship my stuff down until I have a job. Looking in Georgia, SC, NC, Louisianna and (yikes) South Texas for work as an environmental compliance specialist or environmental geologist. Anyone know of anyone in RTP area who is renting a room, please send me a message. I think the Piglet Party, which will include grilling out, beer and a slide show of the trip may happen around April 16th on a Saturday night... or the following week. Let me know what you guys think... we can probably arrange for some crash space for anyone who drinks too much too!

With it I need any spacers/washers that come with it.

It may not be any interest to anyone, but just passing the info along
-At the CBA swap meet in Charlotte, there is a guy with a manta tank cover (outside only, a purple color, no badges), and X1 Fuel injection system - ECM, throttle body, injectors, all wiring, air box, and some various plastic pieces off of the bike (the air scoops on the sides)
He is asking 150 for all of it
I dont really have a use for it, dont need to drop that much on something I dont need, but maybe someone else can use it?

Just passing it along to the locals
