I am in. I will probably ride with you guys on Thursday, stay the night and come back with you guys Friday. I am going to skip the races on Sat. I am Heading to TN. on Sat. Don't want to have to do 24 hours driving on Sunday. May still change my mind. Leaving stoplights faster than a Houdini lock picking! | ||

Good morning gentlemen (and I use that term loosely  ) Update on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday: Wednesday: Leaving Appleton Buell at 10:00am. I've found a somewhat direct route that is 2 lane the entire way. It should take about 2 1/2 hours (maybe 3). Thursday: Leaving Appleton Buell at 9:00am. I've picked a meandering route to Sauk City. I'm estimating 3+ hours to get there. We can bomb back to East Troy on a couple of different routes. I'm guessing we'll take the shorter/quicker option. ***Anyone staying with me on Thursday night: Bring a sleeping back or blanket. Also a towel for the showers. Sorry, the accomadations are not "stocked" yet for the season. Friday: Only about 30 minutes or less to get to Ukes. I may skip Friday's dinner and head directly north via superslab. My ••••••• was killin me...........Damn! 40 minutes in a traffic jam- damn- wham- bam- friggin construction on friday. Pictures look pretty nice I also got a couple of Lake on the Battle Trax. Blow a front fork seal. I'd pull the forks off the S1 but it's in Appleton. I'm just waiting for the parts to come in to fix it. | ||

Wildcat Mountain-Multi BRAG Club event The annual Wildcat Mountain trip to Ontario.... Wisconsin that is, will be help Saturday July 24-Sunday July 25th. Reservations at the Brush Creek Campground have been made. http://www.brushcreekcamping.com We will leave Hal's at 9:00a.m. Saturday morning and ride out to Ontario(Wisconsin that is) and set up camp. From there the best roads in Wisconsin await us. Later will be diner, and then swaping lies around the campfire. This is one of the can't miss trips of the summer. If you have never been to this part of the state of Wisconsin, you owe it to yourself to come enjoy the roads and the scenery. Well our 2nd BRAG meeting went well, 3 new members! 9 of us went on a ride to Depere for some burgers. We voted on a name and will be sending in the paperwork tomorrow. Houdini BRAG club got the votes. For those of you that don't know, Appleton is the birthplace of Harry Houdini. Our slogan will be "Disappearing around the corners like Houdini" I let everyone know about Brew City's camping trip. I won't be going, I'm leaving on vacation on the 28th of July!! Penny and I are riding to Vegas and then up thru Utah,Montana,Wyoming,South Dakota,Minnesota and back to Iowa! I can't wait to be able to spend time with her, been real hard being away from each other all week long for the last couple months. Today was my 2 month ann. at Appleton!
