Hey Webe wouldn't the Helicoil be an inclined plane wrapped inside of a cylinder, but I
like where you were going

Hi Mike, I'll try to make it down for the party. If so, I'll bring a couple of quarts of my home brew. It finally carbonated and tasted pretty damned good a few days ago. Great seeing everybody last weekend. I'll let you know for sure in a few days. Later!

It's a rip snarling, see-through BEAST!

Hey guys its Becky Jimmys wife. Need some help, I have a question. The batteries went dead on the 1125, the xb9, and the X1 I put the battery tender on them and they started and I let them run for a little while to charge the battery and turned them off. I went to turn them back on and the batteries are dead again. How long should I leave the battery tender on each one of them to completely charge the battery? Or should I go out and buy a battery tender for each one of them and just keep them on it?

Becky,

All of my bikes are kept on Battery Tender Plus units. They are always plugged in - except when I'm riding them or they are away from home (work, on a trip, on a day ride, etc.).

I've noticed exponential increases in battery life for the bikes that I only used the battery tender for winter storage (don't miss those days one bit...) to when I used the battery tender whenever parked in my garage. The last S2 battery lasted 7-8 years, and the V-Rod went from 15 months to 6.5 years - so far...

The V-Rod is similar to the 1125CR in the respect that when either comes home after a ride and I plug it in the battery tender the battery is not fully charged and the battery tender goes into a deeper charging mode than just 'storage charging'. The other bikes might behave similarly, I just can't recall right now.

The battery tender website FAQ section http://batterytender.com/resources/frequently-aske d-questions is pretty comprehensive, but I had some questions that I submitted through their Contact Us section and have not heard a peep back on. One was sent before Christmas, and then I followed up last weekend.

Even with their apparent lack of Customer Service/follow up I'm still a battery tender user for life.

I'm not saying that you must put each of 'em on a battery tender - these are just my personal experiences...

My 2 cents,
1313

If you're charging a dead battery with a battery tinder, it will take a long time. That's not really what they were designed to do, though they will do it.

I'm with Brankin, leave them on the tinder all the time.

bishop - why not just buy one tender that has three outlets? I know they offer those and it might be cheaper for you

Any of the 'locals' have a No-Mar or Cycle Hill tire changer? At the rate the Uly is eating tires, I'm seriously considering getting one or the other (along with changing to a different tire). Just wanted to see if there was one around, and if not, if the rest of you would use it...

Prior - we're not exactly local, but Webe has the No-Mar tire changers. We love it and we have certainly put it through it's paces. A good investment for anyone with more than one bike!

Can't wait to see you guys in the mountains this spring!
