I appreciate the help good buddy. Alas I am scheduled to drive to Georgia Saturday afternoon for three days of hunting with my brother. The lunar prediction is looking 4 paws-ish. Then I am hauling Pops back down there on the 1st of January for another 3 day stretch with all the NUTS boys. If I get lucky enough, I'll find a way to get you a few steaks and maybe a tenderloin. | ||

You'll bust one for sure down there my friend. On a private lease its just not possible to see at least a few does since paying members always go for the antlers even though they are crunchy when you chew them. | ||

Fine looking collection of meat products there Nuts! Was you hunting close to water cause that Cooter should have been in the general vicinity of a pond or stream. The break in the vertebral scutes on the carapace look intentional which is a sad indication that some backwoods hillbilly has a lust for killing whatever they can find. | ||

Bite your tongue Mr. Man! We want a cold, snowy Winter. I've thoroughly enjoyed the bitter temperatures and snow and hope it stays this way until Spring. The fat man was exceptionally good to me this year. Thought I was getting 6 new beasts but when I opened the box there were 7! He also brought me a new set of tongs, a pair of Hexarmor gloves, temperature control unit, and all kinds of mixed goodies. I must have been a very good boy this year. If I would have known that being nice instead of naughty would bring this kinda booty I woulda bypassed all my past craziness. | ||

Lots of folks have asked me what I got from Santa. The portly gent neglected me again this year but I'm not bitter. My wife let me be NUTS for a whole 'nother 12 months; who could ask for more?  This weather is beginning to depress me though; good thing I'm headed back to Georgia Saturday with my Pops and brothers. Leaving the firearms home in favor of the stick and string. I hope I can close the deal at close range and bring my tortoise huggin buddy some eats.  | ||

I'm honestly loving this cold weather and am a bit depressed that the temps are supposed to rise towards the end of the week. Nuts, You mean my hopes and dreams of some tasty vittles hinges on your success with the stick and sting? Looks like I'm gonna have to start hunting again next year  | ||

Honkson, I'll be bringing some venison this way on the 4th of January. So long as you like burger or are able to pry the tenderloins away from me.  Should I be lucky enough to kill another one I'll bring it home in quarters and we can have a butcherin party. Crank up the woodstove in the shop and tell lies about our youth. Whatcha say? Burger is good as long as its relatively fresh. Venison fat has a nasty bite when it gets freezer burn. Charlie, Just got done watching your SC boys get scalped by the Seminoles. I felt bad for them because the team as a whole was quite good with one exception. I don't know where you guys got that QB but he SUCKS! I've seen better throws from peewee players  . Jaxson, I totally agree about the SC teams(Clemson and the Game Cocks)I like both coaches but sometimes ya just gotta shake your head in disbelief.  As for VA Tech. I still have hopes....not sure their defense is up to the task.  | ||

Jaxson, I never thought their def. was that good and was a little surprised they did as well as they did in the first half. In the second half Stanford had them figured out and by the fourth quarter Tech. wasn't even in the game(they all but left the field) So I'm sorry I ripped off your arms and legs....and turned your head around backwards...........Maybe next year.  | ||

I think you picked a winner for the BCS. While I would love to see Oregon take the win I don't believe they have the tools to effectively shut Newton down in a passing game or running game. Lets face it, the guy is slicker than goose poop. Oregons offense is nothing to laugh at but I think it will unravel for them in the 3rd once Auburns defense starts riding the tide that their offense started. Regardless it is virtually guaranteed to be entertaining. | ||

Charlie, I was going to wait until tomorrow to post about the GoDaddy Bowl but I just can't contain myself. Have you ever in your life seen two teams as bad as these guys? I've never seen anything like that at college level. This game shouldn't even have a winner. Don't get me wrong it's entertaining simply because of how pathetic it is but man, I wouldn't brag about being a football player if I went to either of these colleges. I hope none of the players are holding out hopes of the NFL knocking on their door | ||

Charlie, Man o' man I wish you would have watched it. You missed what will surely go down as the saddest punt of all times. The ball was kicked high and travelled a whopping 1 yard! Thats right ONE YARD. No deflection, no ruffing, just a mess. I felt sorry for the poor lad as he walked off the field with his head bent in shame. |
