My hubby and I are planning a trip to the beautiful North West this coming summer. Would love to hear from you all up there about where to camp and where to ride. And what is the best time of year to visit up there ie weather wise. Thanks for any info you might provide. | ||

Hey Jewels, We would have gotten back to you sooner but the folks here are in hibernation mode. Late July and August are a good time to visit the northwest and avoid wet weather. There are some great annual events during this time also. Mid to late July is the usual time for SPLASH (Sport Lap Around St. Helens) this is an on going weekend ride that grew out of Blue Groove Northwest which started in 1997. This ride typically is attended by hardy group of current and former Buell riders. Sportbike Northwest will be held July 27-31 this year, you can get all of the info here http://www.soundrider.com/sbnw/ Labour Day brings the SPLASH group back together for Border Raid. Sense 1998 this been a great ride on some of the best roads in BC Canada. As far as camping goes, yeah we got that but I'm not the expert here unless it includes full hookups and hot showers, maybe check ADV for more information.
