@ Shady, glad you are Okay. I had a such an crash be in '89. Woman did an illegal u-turn from a parking spot right in front of me. I have never experienced such fast work by an insurance company before or since.

Sun today. First day riding the Buell to work in about a week.
Had a couple arthritis flare up days that kept me off it on sunny days last week too.
It really sucks on days when I can't ride the 7 to 10 miles home (depending on direct or twisted route) without pain. Damn broken tail bone. Getting about time for another cortisone shot.
Gonna do a Baldwin saddle in the off season. Hopefully that helps too.

We got out for a bit on Sunday and did a few laps around Pilot Mountain and Hanging rock with FB&D. No good pics, but I did get a good one of the funny lookin Harley that Jerry was piloting. More to come later.

Anyone ever pull a wheelie in front of their parents?

I moved the S2 to the new digs on Sunday with my parents following with a load of boxes in the borrowed Exploder and forgot how the low end torque of the tubers is RIGHT THERE. They haven't said anything, and I ain't asking...

If only the XB's had the low end torque of a tuber, the XT-BOLT would be that much better - in my eyes. Related to the XT-BOLT, I found out today that the bores of both cylinders are out of round AND tapered. Hopefully this discovery means that the XT-BOLT will be fixed for good and will be coming home SOON!

Been busy with the new digs and haven't even had the chance to lurk...

This moving crap will force me to miss Buelltoberfest. The vacation day I have for this Friday and the rest of the weekend will be used to (hopefully) complete my move.

But all the sacrifices will be worth it in the end,

Odd to say, I really do miss corn and the smell of fall harvest when the combines and corn choppers are all out, and the people there. I do not miss the winters though...

Thanks to Webe for coming over today and installing my new battery! He then took me out for a short ride so I'd be ready for Suches later this week.

Carlos was able to head to soccer with all the children as planned. Now it's time to pack and head south!

Of course, the ride came after the fact that I was having issues starting my bike....wasn't the battery this time, operator error. I tried to turn the key....it wouldn't turn but so far...I thought something was wrong, then I remembered that I needed to hit the ignition button! Doh! Mark and Carlos laughed, said I had been in the cage too long!

I think you nailed it. I don't know my old BMWs very well, but I didn't think that was a K bike at first glance. Some googling reveals that it's likely a K75RT with the side fairings removed:





It might be a K100RT, but I can't tell the difference visually:

It's been awfully quiet around here lately. I just got back from WV yesterday. Had plans to make it down to Buelltoberfest but weather and hunting season prevented it.

Just an update I will be heading out mid-November. Been busy here lately getting ready to go and then found out that I will have a baby Bueller waiting on me when I get back so I have been doing drywall work getting a nursery ready. Becky is stoked and so am I so she is out of riding for a little while.

Hope everyone is doing well

I just got back from Florida. Spent most of the time in the Keys, but stopped over in St Aug going and coming. What a wonderful surprise that was:

- No one is in St Aug.
- The beaches are BEAUTIFUL. Much better than the keys.
- It's an easy days drive/ride.

I'll be going back.
