it definitely rained up here but if the route itself was clear I would have toughed it out for the trip down 95. Anyone else find it ironic that the badweatherbikers cancel a ride due to rain? haha | ||

Anyone that wants to and can ride on a Monday night: I'm leaving from work (1000 Samoset Drive, Newark, DE 19713) at 7:00pm on Monday the 13th of September to go to the last bike night of the season at Top Dog in Cherry Hill, NJ. http://www.topdogcherryhill.com/bikenight/index.ht ml I went a few times last year. Parkville, MD 21234-1213 Roughly 2-miles outside of the Balto. Beltway (Rte 695) on Rte 147. Meet-up 8:30AM - 9:00AM. Kickstands up at 9:00. Second meet-up @ Delta Diner(Delta, PA)...9:45. Kickstands up 10:00. I'll run us through northern MD and south central PA. I can have us back at our starting point by 2:00 - 2:30. The ride has technical twisties, sweepers and rolling countryside. Post a reply if you plan to join us. Ratbastard or Delta Blue...would either of you be available? I could use a leader or sweeper for the ride. | ||

Guys the MSF is kicking off a new Experienced rider course called the ARC at Harford community college this Sunday Sept 26 it is FREE you get certified instruction on your bike. can anyone tell me where the ride is this weekend ? I hooked up with Terp and some others near Annapolis last Sunday for a nice ride. Not so nice for the guy that wadded up his Ducati, but nice for the rest of us. He looked to be OK. I can't find any info on the ride and don't know how to get back there as Terp is at the Dragon this week. I'm coming from Fallston north of Baltimore. I was on the red and black CR with the front end problem for those that might have been there. | ||

I made it back from the Dragon...did my best to slay it and shred the tridents on the Pirelli's. Played on Virginia's Rte 58 on the way down. NC's Rt 28...and part of the Blue Ridge Parkway on the way home. I used recent MSF's Advanced Riders Course on the way down. A tanker truck decided to pull out onto a divided highway and take up both lanes. Quick braking..swerve to a sad excuse of a gravel shoulder...then to sloped grass median. Both wheels stayed right side down. Thanks MSF. |
