If you want to Camp Dan Swartswood state park is 8 miles from the chatterbox and I talked to them they said 85% of the Parks campsites are still available and should be no problem. They have full amenities and it's quite a georgous place. There is a link in the Ramble section or there is a Holliday Inn express about 4 miles away in Newton NJ there are a couple guys staying there as well. I am amped up Pre ran it yesterday again and good thing to cause they stone chipped one of the steeper roads that could have been ugly  . There is alot of last years ride in there and the BIG INDIAN or DIDYMO mountain is GODS country for sure. Hope to see you guys there | ||

I'm usually up for a campout but I'll probably get better rest at home and get up early...but then there's always that last minuet change of plans...so who knows? | ||

I believe we have a new member in Conn. Griffmiester who was looking at going with you Dan,Rich and Froggy. at least to get to the jump off spot anyway if you guys want you can all be 1 group I am not sure how he rides I will ask him and let him know you fella's like a spirited pace | ||

Dan I wish I could go to the Aerodrome I love that place I had to start their 1915 Indian for them last time I was there. Don was thinking of doing a Buell only barnstormer kinda thing in July let me know if either Froggy or Drew or dan wan't to go. I'm always up for a "barnstormer", july is a busy month, might have to do a harley ride over the 4th...more of an escort thing for my woman. A buell only thing is good too, never thought i'd be predudice but riding with other type machines seem to make my tinnitus(sp?) worse. Of the few roads we road in sussex (including the ones I got lost on going home)I think you guys are keeping some secrets. Expierienced some air and pucker factor..definately in need of a "friggin R" or similar to get the full effect. | ||

Well, the ride to Rhinebeck was, as promised, p a i n f u l l y s - l - o - w . But the ride back wasn't!  The show was really small due to exhibitors backing out because of the weather. But the stuff that was there was freeking cool! I love that show. | ||

I used to go to that show every year when they did it hear in the warren county fairgrouds but they got washed out every year it seemed. I saw a Nimbus inline 4 motorcycle there I saw a douglas and a Scott they had some of the coolest bikes sorry I couldn't make it. | ||

Awesome you will love that lil park Dan. I got friends up there now camping for 2 weeks even though we live 25 min away. You can rent kyaks and swim. Guys watch the site the weather is an issue because of the Spirited nature of this afair Don would like good conditions. The weather says 40% chance of rain now if it goes to 60 I think he is gonna move it foward a week. Dan if you have to use the campsite anyway let me know I will gladly take you through the entire Sussex county area rain or shine.Or see if I can get you a refund Sat is great weather though so if the ride is off and you have to use it we can also ride Sat. afternoon a nice 150 mile loop I can pull outa my watsus Dave | ||

So I went on this "harley ride" today sponsored by foster kids of CT. Good cause and all but I wasnt really looking forward to it. At the end I got a raffle prise and my girl got the "grand prise". Weather was awsome so it was a day well spent. The best part however was meeting a couple from the Kingston N.Y. area. The guy had a very nice xb9r with a polished frame and custom paint job. He had the bike there to replace the drive belt since Woodstock harley doesn't work on buells (according to him) ANYWAY, I told him and his girl about badweb and the excellent support he'd get if he reached out to "us". Especially about the chain conversion that saintly sells. (not to piss off Danbury harley but he said he'd gone thru 4 belts in the last year). Guys name is Tim, keep a lookout for him. | ||
