Me and Borrowedbike are at California Superbike School this weekend. I'll try to post a little if I can.
I hope to learn a ton and Paul is hoping that he doesn't spew oil

Ok, day one down. I'm too tired to write this. Like Buell homecoming tired, but tired-er.

The BMW s1000RR is an awesome bike, but I'm not used to it at all. The first few sessions were used to sort the bike out. By that time I was too mentally exhausted to get much more out of it. Once I have time to sleep and process all of this, it will be great. I have much to learn...much to learn.

I feel like a padawan

Day two was much better. I started to understand the bike and I was working it easier around the turns. Not struggling so much. I attribute this to both my body position and just understanding the bike a bit more.

Good training exercises today and I definitely picked up the pace. I am actually less tired than I was on day one.

It was incredible, but I'm glad it's over, I learned so much I can't even process it.

Throughout the entire weekend Paul continued to promote a culture of safety.

The armistice was maintained for the entirety of the weekend. It was specified clearly and early! Plus we were too exhausted to move, let alone fornicate other people's property.
