I'm heading out to mountains in Va / WV for a ride, Sunday. Nothing too technical...meeting up with a friend(s) on cruiser(s). If anyone wants to tag along, let me know. We will ride Rte 55 / Rte 219 / Rte 50...or something close. A 10-hour day from Bel Air. Kickstands up, in Bel Air @ 6:00 AM. (Rockfish...being retired military, you're probably up and ready at 6:00)  | ||

I don't know that side all that well. If you would lead that part, that would be great. Some time ago, that side was rather rough. Are the roads any better? I tried to find some twisties other than Rte 425...and found that one section. What seems better? | ||

Terp 324 is a nice run down toward the river. From there back I take River Road usually. You are correct it is very ugly in parts, I need to find another way around, there are a few options. The roads South of 372 are fun, but your only option back is to cross the Dam, and that could eat up a bunch of time. There are some great cross streets between 23 and 851 as well. I really like 623 between Delta and Churchville, I've been playing with a few loops for a while now, just don't have anything solid yet I also go to Rising Sun and Aberdeen a lot. Parkville, MD 21234-1213 Roughly 2-miles outside of the Balto. Beltway (Rte 695) on Rte 147. Meet-up 8:30AM - 9:00AM. Kickstands up at 9:00. Second meet-up @ Delta Diner(Delta, PA)...9:45. Kickstands up 10:00. I'll run us through northern MD and south central PA. I can have us back at our starting point by 2:00 - 2:30. The ride has technical twisties, sweepers and rolling countryside. Post a reply if you plan to join us. | ||

Pos90, Was that you? I should have stopped in Airville and chatted. You followed me down to Woodbine then went on up 425 towards Fawn Grove, right? 425 to Fawn Grove is a fun ride, last night I went on through Muddy Creek Forks. There are some nice turns up through there as well. I am still new to the XB9 so I am not as fast through some of those turns, but fun none the less. | ||
