very nice video that this guy did, excellent idea for using foil on the muffler, I hated cleaning up the oil all over my muffler when I did it. |

I talked to a sales person today, they said it had already sold, but they were trying to locate the title for it or something. Im not sure, looks like it was set up for track use to me |

Matt- it's not that bike they used to have displayed on the wall with all the Harleys inside the showroom, is it? Seems like it was kind of a yellow on white paint scheme. |

Hey all, did a great last minute ride on Saturday with a former roommate. If I'd had more advanced notice I would have posted on here, but only decided to go the night before. Left out of Greenville and did backroads across through Clayton, GA then up to Deal's Gap, then east over to Sylva, NC and down through Cashiers on the way back home. Covered about 350 miles almost entirely on twisties. Rides like this remind me why I love this bike so much.
Also saw some hilarious stuff while at the tail of the dragon... particularly this guy:

Yellow KZ-man pictured above cracks me up, and then start caring, and don't want him to get hurt.
Historical note, May 30, 2009; a jail house parking lot at the west end of I-385 around 9 AM, a Saturday morning; nine motorcycle riders find themselves together. Fun ensues.

Yep it sure does. +1 on the AGAIN part. I just need to get the injector problem code fixed on the Buell so there need not be a ride planned until it is fixed because it aint got any power with only one jug firing. |

Airhead* traditions include Tech Days. Local gatherings at someones garage/carport/driveway to pitch-in on maintenance & service items.
Darren might host a Tech Day? Ahem... just tossin' that out there.
* My bikes include BMW 'airhead'. Like Buell, BMW discontinued its production, but continues to manufacture other motorcycles. Pray Buell owners are supported as well as 'airheads' are by BMW (NOT flawless). |

Monday night one of my best friends, my hunting partner, and my groomsman Tim was coming home from a Bible study when he got into an accident on his motorcycle. He made it through surgery yesterday to stop the internal bleeding. They had to remove his spleen but it appears his colon and the rest of his digestive tract were salvaged. He was open for over 24 hrs before they were able to confidently stitch him up. After closing him up they were finally able to do a CT and found that he appears to have no neurological damage (thank God for quality helmets). However, he has fractures in his skull, shoulder blade, collar bone, vertabrae, most of his ribs, both hips, a crushed pelvis, broken legs and knees. The main concern is still his lungs. One of his lungs has collapsed and the other keeps filling with fluid. He has won a very important battle, but he has a huge war ahead. Please pray for my friend. |

The wreck was in Atlanta. We have no idea on the details. The paramedics could not find ID and they thought he was dead so they brought him to the ER "dead on arrival." He started to come around in the ER and they were able to get him salvageable. The officer who made the report went on vacation the next day and does not come back in until Tuesday so they have no idea how it happened.
Tim is having a hard time and is seeming to battle some sort of infection with a fever fluctuating b/w 101-104. Please pray for him, his doctors, and his family. |

on another note i'm sad to announce that my xb9s is up for sale. if you know anyone please let me know, i'm in the process of making a video and a post on the classifieds section here. I will always consider myself a SCBR and one day soon (when my finances are better) i will have a pair of wheels again, and they will be Buell! |
