Had a real good time out riding this weekend...rode some on saturday, met Jim at the kawi shop... Sunday, went for a longer ride...rode Lake Lowery and the usual local roads...rode up to Clermont and across to Mascotte...had lunch and picked my way home....had forgot how good it was to ride... I hooked up with a school of squids on imports and followed them for a while until they got too stupid to risk it...that was fun...had a good time...it's great to be back!!! | ||

‘Twas a foggy start.  Some spots less.  Reeeeeally foggy!    I always get that Mad Max feeling on shots like this - being pursued by a grizzled bunch of riders!      Nom, nom, nom. Delicious.  A little “duck tape” here, a little strap there, and the wounded Duc was road worthy again.   We spotted these beauties before the grub stop and just had to stop by after. Over the weekend, I ran into a group of riders from Clermont...the ride leader said he is on the E-mail list...I encouraged them to come ride this weekend...one guy rides an 1125...the rest ride metric... Lets ride!!!! | ||

Pace was fine. I don't think anyone has to run full on all the time. Lafayette is due the respect we give him by following his lead. Fast or slow. I just had to see Mom, and sorry Lafayette, she takes precedence.  Mike | ||

I had a good time...I ALWAYS have a good time  Wish I had my Blast back for those more laid back rides....I had some moments on that thing trying to keep up. I was out goofing around sort of looking for a project bike. i stopped by the Honda shop in Winter Haven...they have an absolutely beautiful XB12r it has the select seat and race can, and some tastefully polished parts...it is extremely nice...looks to have been meticulously maintained. | ||
