Friday is when I can leave. No wiggle room on that...sorry. I am open to any good ideas that will work out. It would be cool to ride to Homecoming with a BIG group of Buells! Rochester to Redwing 1hr Rochester to Nelson 1hr Rochester to La Crosse 1hr Mpls/St Paul to Redwing 1hr Mpls/St Paul to Nelson 2hrs Mpls/St Paul to La Crosse 2.5hrs Faribault to Redwing 1hr Faribault to Nelson 1.5hrs Faribault to La Crosse 2hrs We all share some pain if we meet in Redwing. works for me. I appreciate the effort to accommodate. my feeling is that I am not comfortable leaving sooner than 6:00 am...i know I'll be too tired to feel safe. That would give a 7:00 am meeting time. I would hate to cut out a good ride to get there by 2:00...unless there is a particular reason to be there at 2:00? | ||

After some thought...it may just be easier to meet in Nelson but leave at 8am. That way we can stick to the original plan. SO... 7:30 for breakfast, Kickstands up at 8am. I was thinking of leaving Thursday or Friday from South Minneapolis. I haven't made up my mind yet. Any other Thursday folk from the Twin Cities? I'll be riding my Uly and my buddy is driving my truck and hauling his Lightning. He's a newbie and can't take the miles (yet). But this also opens up the back of my pickup truck for anyone else to haul supplies. | ||

Now I'm really psyched! I originally viewed this post from my work laptop which uses my employer's internet connection which blocks Youtube. So I hadn't seen those super sweet videos from Union_man. Now I'm really fired up! This trip will be a bit of a homecoming for me too. I grew up in Holmen WI, and goofed around the coolies of that region quite a bit as a kid. Although I haven't been through there in 20+ years, those videos brought me right back! | ||
