Rubber Band update. This is me when the rubber band broke.. And this is me when I found out I bent my swing arm in one of my many 5mph tip overs.. When they gave me the $5,568 repair est. at Desperation they looked like this.. and I looked like this.. Worked it out with the ins. guy to just fix the mechanical stuff (1700$), and not charge me my $500 deductable.., and not raise my rates... So my beasty should be back by the 7th...
So for what ever reason I am so blessed I'll just say thanks to my Gardian Angel, and get on down the road

Thanks a lot ya punk ass sissy NASCAR loving lower n a snake belly in a wagon rutt speed channel!!
I hate NASCAR! !! Each driver should be required to ride on the top of the car and race. They might as well not even be in the car as safe as it is. Oh, screw the speed channel too.
so a stupid NASCAR race runs late because of rain and they bump motogp. Motogp race in the rain!
Pissed off!

Yeah, you need to get out of bed earlier.
It was great race. Lorenzo and Pedrosa had a good go of it with Lorenzo taking the win. Rossi had a good view of the action about 1 second behind in third. Hayden finished fourth about 9 seconds behind the leaders with Stoner hot on his heals. Ben Spies was running well in the beginning but went to the pits and didn't return, not sure what happened.

Yep, you missed a good one,
Chris

NASCAR racing at Watkins Glen and especially Sears Point is pretty entertaining. It's a whole new concept for a lot the drivers, they have to turn the steering wheel left and right.

Car, trailer, and Buell (and me and Jaci) are heading for Amarillo tomorrow. Parking there, riding the Buell for a hot lap of Texas, then coming home via San Fran maybe. Might be passing by the northwest (Portlandish) around May 26, 27. So we might be poppingin for a visit or two. Depending which way the wind blows us.

Man, after the flurry of comunication from last week, the BadWeb goes siletnt once more... I personaly am going slowly quite mad with out my Beastie to ride. I swear it's been sunny every freakin' day it's been in the shop. 'Just waiting for one part,' is the story I get. Got. Have. Goin' down on tuesday to test drive Desperatopns' hogs. When the smoke clears I bet my bike will be rollin' out the back ready to rock...
I will be accepting good vibrations on Tuesday also as I am interviewing for a F/T position in Olwimpia. now back to work

I was following Deb as she was riding her Buell the other day and I noticed how the rear hub was not centered in relation to the axle hole. (looks weird) (Looks Cheap)

Huh, Wheels made in China!

Head down..........defeated look.............(Made In America) Would be nice to see sometime.

I hear you Bob. When I picked up the new 1125R the dealer gave me a new hat. Wore it while we finished the deal, loaded the bike and drove home. Later that evening I took a look at tag inside, yep made in China, I haven't worn the hat again. Maybe if h-d bought more parts from US manufacturers and put Americans back to work they would be able to sell motorcycles again.
Just my 2 cents

Chris, I agree. People will say, Oh ya, it's made in China and there isn't anything we can do about it. Bullshit!
Our BIG Government and our BIG business are selling us to the Chinese!. (and others)
I really look at tags and labels more than ever now. I don't see anything wrong with trade. (Fair Trade) Seem's America is just in it for short time profit and it doesn't seem to matter what Joe and Jane American want anymore.

God, I have to get off the subject!

On other Buell new's, I was checking Debbies oil right after the (Made In China) heart attack and low and behold................Ya, Wait for it Wait for it!..............It beltched out a good 1/4 of a quart of oil. (For no good reason)

Oh, The low fuel light comes on at about 120 miles of regular riding. I Can't amagine what it's gunna do when in full flogg.

I think it's gunna be a short timer.

Oh what a tangled web we weave.

I think you’re finding more and more people reading the labels these days. With recent health issues and quality concerns from off shore products the purchasing public is making better choices. The problem with the “Made in China” mentality is that we all want everything for nothing. It’s a race to fill up the toy box.

If we could learn to do with less and purchase products of better quality that will last and not become land fill, the whole planet would benefit.

Now factor in corporate greed and the expectations of share holders. Are you going to be satisfied with moderate growth of your stock portfolio or do you expect maximum return inspire of the Made in the USA motto.

On the other side of the coin, you could argue that Sam Walton and company are improving the life styles of Americas most vulnerable by combating ever increasing costs of living. Many poverty line families would have a much tougher time making ends meet or just providing the bare minimums without access to cheap merchandise.

For me, it’s Canada grade “A”

I think if corps didnt have to make 'extra' $ to pay 'investors'... Its a crappy system designed in the 1600's so the rich stay that way... its an added cost to every product. What would prices and the economy look like if products were sold for the cost of the product... labour and management get a good wage, parts and facilities are covered, but no jillions in 'profit' for useless shit-bags, er, shareholders. Oh Christ, I just wana talk about motorbikes...
...or start a revolution!

You'd make a good Canadian, Galen.
Jaci and I are wondering when our "Made in Canada Matters" magnetic thingie on the car is going to disappear.
I don't mind "Made in Italy" sometimes. Like Marceshini and Ducati.
Jaci and I are leaving Colorado Springs today for Amarillo. Temperature here is just above freezing with a 20mph wind. We have a pass to clear into New Mexico at Raton that may have snow so we're happy to be not riding yet. Motorcycling starts tomorrow though.
