Brad, would that be Lindskog's, or the one we brought back from Homecoming? By the way, I think I've got my starter fixed. It seems like there was some dirt stuck in it, and the starter wouldn't turn. Cleaned it out, and so far, so good. I should be there Thursday. | ||

That depends on when people can get here. I was thinking 6ish. Marc, if you're in the area, drop by the Dubliner Pub sometime (corner of University and Vandalia). My voltage regulator will be here tomorrow, so I'll be able to go on longer rides, maybe even to your house, Brad. I know the only reason you don't want to come here is that we won't have any ribs for you. I've got a new job up in your neck of the woods, Brooklyn Park, close to 94 and Boone. I've had to drive the Jeep to work, and it's been torture to drive when it's riding weather. | ||

I'll be coming from St. Paul thursday night heading to Dunlono's. I'd love to either meet some of you guys up there or even ride in together. And Lou, I've had my x1 at St. Aggies many times on Sunday morning ... time attack from s.mpls when running late. | ||

Looks like I might not be going tomorrow. Bike died on the way home from work. Pulled the new plug, and the positive lead started to melt the connector. Checked it and it was loose, so I soldered both pins. Couldn't get the pin lock back in, so I plugged the bare pins into the vr so I could check if the vr was ok. Went to turn on the bike, nothing. New battery was charged. Main fuse was blown. I"ll try tomorrow after work and see if SPHD has a fuse. If that doesn't work, I'll have to get out the sledge hammer. Grrr.... | ||

OK, I've calmed down a bit. Autozone had the fuse, and I did away with the connectors and spliced the wires. Everything seems to be working, now. I'll take the bike to work again and see how things go. |
