Dullorb, I don't, M2 and S2. Stranger ( ), If it takes 2K plus a Buell to get it I'll keep the Buell and find a private party to deal with. Daves will get to see one of the bikes on the 15th, and I'll get to ask what they have up there gathering dust in the back corner of the shop that's too old to move and not old enough to move also. That is if I'm still in the market and not riding a YammerHammer by then. |

Mike...Definetely no stranger, just a new me. Is interesting what lurking and not posting for over a month can do to one's psyche. Was a good cooling off period and I hope I can start fresh with the BWB. Especially with those that previously got involved in a downward spiral with me. Reincarnation is a good thing as everything is new and different. I hope it stays that way. |

I knew that (clicked the profile to see first). Everybody needs a vacation from time to time, recharged batteries always burn the lights much brighter at night. Try to join us at some point on May 15th. It'll be close if I can have a bike freshened up enough for the CrudRun. |

Roll Away The Stone -- Epiphany -- can I get an Amen? or is the timing of your return a coincidence? |

Wow, doesn't that make him John Lenin? Wait... no, that was Mick Jagger with the Stones. He only looks like he's been dead three days. |

Amen Brother Bomber...Amen. Sorry, no coincidence. The only reason I walk on water is because I know where the rocks are. Is a trick I learned while fishing the local waters. LOL After a month of lurking, I watched the BWB change and really enjoy the comradery that has developed among the Wisconsin BRAG Clubs. I also learned to give up on the sermons, epistles and other long boring opinionated posts. Mike...If you are riding up to Appleton on the county roads, let me know if you want a tag along. Can meet you in Port or anywhere along the way. You lead and I will take the rockin' chair. I rode up there a few times in the past but really don't know my way around. Shouldn't take too much longer with the exception of the stops and it sure beats droning up Hwy 41. |

Welcome to join in. As far as leading or following, doesn't matter as I'm sort of a follow my nose sort of guy. I just kind of meander in a generalized direction and usually end up close to where I'm going. I'll take a map along, but more as a general guide than as a precise route tool. "Remind me to tell you sometime" about the presumed bridge across the Columbia river that was clearly on a map but was not in existance during one ride many years ago - taught me a very valuable lesson on map accuracy, and only cost about a hundred miles or so. I'll be playing with route options over the new few weeks and should have a fairly good generalized idea of what's where by May 15th. |

Lake...Can't wait to see Marilyn with all her parts attached. Saw the work-in-process on the other threads and it looks like you have done real well with this project. Am planning on hitting both the Slimey Crud and Appleton open house. Looking forward to seeing you again! |

Hey all, Posted on a couple of the other Wisconsin boards but looking for as much advice and experience as possible. Im from Utah but I'm going to the Lake Geneva/elkhorn area for a family reunion in September and I am trying to decide wether or not to drive out with my S1. Any comments are welcome and I'm already asking myself if its really an option not too. might even ride it part of the way there and let my wife drive the truck edited by drfuyutsuki on April 16, 2004 |

Joshua, (I'm not about to try and type your user name, let alone pronounce it) I replied to one of the other threads you posted in, but will add one thing here. If you bring your S1 with you, then you will be able to park it in front of the Buell building in East Troy for a photo of it. Just something to hang on the garage wall when you get back home. |

Josh -- my understanding is that tours can be arranged, if your so inclined . .. . also, the Kettle Morraine area and Holy hill have some great roads . . . .. interesting to ride roads that were used for the development of your scoot, I'm thinkin . . .. . make sure you keep us informed as your plans get more concrete . . . I'd enjoy hookin up with you |

Josh...Grab your map and highlighter and check out the following website. These are the best roads in SouthWestern Wisconsin and there are many more out there to link them together. http://my.execpc.com/~ytk/wi.htm Should make for some great riding on your way to or from Lake Geneva. I did that entire section in September 2002 and had the time of my life. The roads are virtually yours as the kids are back in school and tourist season is over. Enjoy routing your ride!!! |

Mike...Thanks! I should think meandering through Eastern WI behind you would be a good thing. That way I get to smell the roses and you get to get us lost in a most enjoyable way. |

Josh....I rode my S3 back to Lake Geneva when I moved from Colorado. It was a nice 2 day ride (except I did it in April). I'm not sure I'd want to ride my S1 that far (but I'm getting old and lazy ) |
