Cool trike. I stopped by Orl. HD today. Bob Daum (long time Bueller and HD salesman) is back at main store full time. See him if you are looking for a HD. I saw a XR1200 with aftermarket exhaust dyno...81 RWHP.
Sam and I are meeting at Sem. HD Sat. at 10:00. We are going to take back roads to SR 415 and then heading to US 1 on Osteen Maytown Road. First stop will be JB's Fish Camp for lunch. Then we will hit Miller's/Limp Nickie Lot, Last Resort (Old Skool Bike Show), and finally Pub 44. Come along if you want or just ride to US 1 with us and then do your own thing. Whatever floats your boat.

John, some rocker box gasket leak comments:
The surfaces must be FLAT, if one of them is slightly warped or not flat, it will leak.
Have you tried to take a good straight edge (I use a metal ruler) and place the edge across the mounting areas of your rocker covers? You might have a slight warpage causing this problem. If that doesn't work, you can always mill a small amount of the surface material off to get you a better compression area between mating surfaces. |

Update: Check oil level when I got home. Still the same level as it was last weekend. Just above first "X" So I'll keep checking and hope that it is okay.

The consensus of the chosen emailers (Frank, Sam, David & myself) is to move the meet time earlier to 6:30 at Ker's Winghouse. Hope this works for all others.

I have court-ordered mediation with my ex-wife on Wednesday, 3/17 at 9:30 AM. I hope the fact that it's St. Patrick's Day is a good omen. I took the day off from work for the occasion, so I won't be at Ker's. |

Paul... After mediation it might be very therapeutic to jump on the bike and open it up. Oh yeah, if Winghouse is in the path stop in for a St. Patrick's day toast.
Oil leak is fixed. Seminole said it was all Sam's fault. They said the alteration to the breather hose (that Sam did on my bike) caused a pinch in the hose backing up the pressure and causing the gasket to give. They charged me $95 to put it back to stock so they could cover the gasket under warranty. Funny how it all of the sudden got a pinch in the line after about a year and the only people to work on the bike since was Seminole... a week earlier?
