Puc, I feel you pain. Delaware City looks much different from when I visited it a few months ago. Since I have a Rotax motor...is there a snowmobile conversion kit for the 1125R? I'll need it this weekend. | ||

I ran a couple errands this morning on the Uly before the snow started...it was pure bliss. The look on people's faces at seeing a motorcycle on the road was also priceless. I LOVE snow, but I can't wait until there's no question about when I can ride and when I can't. | ||

Terp, Yeah... usually a few cars and a lot more bikes. Go figure, a little cold and a threatening blizzard will scare everyone away. I think the snowmobile kit is second in priority to the sidecar with a drive wheel option. Just keep a lookout, I'm sure they are both in the quality check stages. | ||

LOOKING FOR PETE today I got an e-mail from his hotmail account I copied it below. does anyone have his private number or have seen him on Bad web I'm thinking this is a scam Hello, I'm writing this with tears in my eyes,i came down here to London,England for a short vacation and i got mugged at gun point last night at the park of the hotel where i lodged all cash,credit cards and cell were stolen off me. I am even owing the hotel here,the hotel manager won't let me leave until i settle the hotel bills now am freaked out.So i have limited access to emails for now, please i need you to lend me some money so i can make arrangements and return back I am full of panic now,the police only asked me to write a statement about the incident and directed me to the embassy,i have spoken to the embassy here but they are not responding to the matter effectively, I will return the money back to you as soon as i get home, I am so confused right now.i wasn't injured because I complied immediately. I've heard of that scam - I think I saw the very same email on 60 Minutes or the Today Show. An older person actually responded and sent money. | ||

I responded, then called Pete, so if any of you get similar emails from me, let me know, I'm trying to catch that bastard. I wasn't planning on sending money until I spoke with Peter. The person replied and the scariest part of it is how he even got peters tag line at the end of the message. Very convincing. AS a good friend of mine pointed out.. LOL! ME ROBBED AT GUNPOINT! And the guy survived?! LOL.. Yes, it sucks, that email had to be killed because of that ••••••.. By the way, Blake says.. it came from Nigeria.. big surprise there.. Well, I tried to wake up and look around.. my hybernation is supposed to be over soon! But it's still quite frigid for someone with no heated anything! The good news is.. There's riding in my future.. and track daze and ... hopefully more riding.. | ||

And now for something.. pretty much the same as something else... I just got off the phone with CLASS - they are ready to give us the group deal.. I'll start a new thread for it.. They kind of want to get an idea of how many people we're rollin' in with.. But since that's not too clear.. Yet... I was working an idea with them.. On their sign up page they have an 'additional comments' section.. We can all put a "GROUP - CABO" in there so we can all get the benefits of their group discounts. Now.. Where should I put up the thread? Here in Storm Fronts? OR somewhere else? | ||

Wife is mad at me for various reasons...just in time for a good weather weekend. Whenever we get into a "discussion" before a nice weekend, she always says: "And I know you're just wanting to be out on your bike all weekend!" I always respond, "No, that's not true [it actually isn't - I just want 4-5 hours]. I didn't do that when I was single." Her feeling is that I'd rather be out on the bike than with her. Me? I feel there's time for both until the weather is good enough for her to "risk" a ride with me (June and September, as far as I can tell - she's always cold, even in the ATGATT). Does your riding ever play into your relationship in a bad way? How do you handle it? Exciting CABO topic! | ||

Its called putting the guilt trip on you. Okay maybe I was a little harsh. I love to ride and the thought inthe back of my head is if I ever hooked up with someone who restricted my riding I'd dump them and I know that's being selfish so. First spring MC safety event I found thru my MC safety connections. First Ride Like a Pro is here in the state now. They have a full schedule down in Southern Maryland. I'm taking the class on April 24 then on April 25 there will be a Motorcycle Safety event in Hollywood, Maryland with a closed course on the parking lot for free. This event is not sponsored by the MVA but by the college and Ride Like a pro. They will be putting on riding Demos and stuff. | ||

Tony, I transferred the tags from my dead bike so the 1125 is road legal, and turned in the plates for the XB9. Once I figure out where the short is on the 9, I'll start converting it for track only use. I don't have enough room to work on it so I took out the 1125 to start making room then noticed how damn nice it was outside. I am an addict, can't help it. | ||

Ras, Glad to hear that the 1125 is being put to street use! I can't image you being strictly a track guy... way too limiting on ride time. My backyard is starting to dry out. May not be too long before I can move the bike from the basement to the street for my first ride of the season. | ||
